Interesting... but I’m very curious why CNN is just dropping this info NOW when they had a 68 year head start. Seems like they are detracting from Kamala Harris’s historic pick for Veep. But some say I’m a conspiracy theorist...

“More than half a century before Kamala Harris ran for Vice President, this Black woman did”

https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/14/us/charlotta-bass-kamala-harris-trnd/index.html

Charlotta Bass strode onto a stage in Chicago and gave a speech as the first Black female candidate for Vice President. She was a candidate for the nation's second-highest office under the Progressive Party ticket in 1952.

SISTAHS... how y’all feel?
BRUTHAS... y’all alright?

We are officially two episodes in. I would love to hear some feedback to know if y’all are feeling the minipodcasts or not.

Don’t worry... it won’t hurt my feelings if you don’t. New concepts are often difficult to launch.

ALSO, in case you don’t know.... I have two other shows you may want to peep. I am 1/2 of the Bruthas-N-Law podcast with Sean Codger.

I am also 1/2 of the PanAfricana show with Fred Nonterah on Facebook every Saturday at 12:30pm EST. Find us PanAfricana Presented by Afriscope.

Be sure to check out my other projects if you want to hear more of ya boy!

Mini Episode 1 is now available... lemme know what you think!

Mini Episode 1 is now available... lemme know what you think!

Today, we learn about Keita... an African King who sailed the ocean blue in the 1300s... (or died trying according to the Europeans!)

Welcome to all those who already know, who want to know, or who think they know.

Black History is grossly under-appreciated in this world and yet Black people have touched and influenced practically everything in this world. So how can this paradox exist?!?
..I’ll tell you why...

Because there is POWER in knowing who you are and from whence you came. And in EVERY Black History story there is a lesson or parable that relates to your life.

So check out my mini-podcast, the first of its kind. I won’t bore you. But I hope that from these stories you take pride, inspiration, a healthy dosage of sorrow and anger, but more importantly a newfound perspective on the greatness that is within all of us.

Check me out!

Sincerely,

-Jesse
