We didn't leave you, friends, we are at our new home! Please stop by Patreon.com/SuperYes and say hello. It's the only surprise Tanya truly likes! Sit with us, clean with us, drive with us. We promise you’ll hear a story from Jasa, hear about our “Cute and Fun” segment of what we are buying, watching, and listening to, and catch a little laughter and a lot of encouragement. Our table is ready for you! You are invited!
Don't miss out! We’re over on Patreon.com/SuperYes. This week we’re trying to absorb the news as quickly as it’s flying at us! From new coaches, The Golden Bachelor breakup and some very interesting marriage conversations. Thanks for listening, everybody!!
Today is a great day at the Super Yes Podcast as we welcome our friend, Vickie Petz Kasper, known as Dr. Vickie to those who listen to her podcast, “Healthy Looks Great On You.” Vickie was an OB/GYN doctor in our hometown of Russellville, AR, for over 20 years where she had the joy of delivering over 5000 babies! After she was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, a rare chronic autoimmune disease marked by muscle weakness, she was forced to leave the career she loved. She then turned to another love: writing! Vickie began blogging, writing, and speaking.
Today, as a medical doctor, double board certified in obstetrics/gynecology and lifestyle medicine, Dr. Vickie has created a podcast, complete with downloadable workbooks, which explains various medical conditions in easy-to-understand language so you can stay healthy, get healthy, or manage chronic disease.
Patsy Clairmont joins us for a *conversation on the couch*
Patsy Clairmont, a founding member of Women of Faith, author of more than 35 books, and a professional speaker for over 40 years joined us for a *Conversation on the Couch* and was as delightful and enjoyable as we knew she would be. 😊 We call Patsy our “National Treasure” and I’m sure you will as well as you listen to her wise words, hilarious stories, and overall sweetness. Please enjoy this on Patreon this month at NO CHARGE as our Valentine's gift for you until the end of February. 💗You can find both the video and audio of this conversation at Patreon.com/superyes 💗
The power of the pause in the moment before you choose your next reaction is one of the topics Jen and I discussed on Patreon this week. She shared highly valuable life tips for coping with and responding to all the stressful life stuff. You know the kind where you want to back out of the door and crawl back into the bed, or maybe slightly lose your ever-loving mind. We address it all and even make each other have a few fits of ridiculous laughter along the way. Life is a journey, friend. Don’t think you have to face it alone. You can join us on patreon.com/SuperYes
Maybe a little bit silly, maybe a little bit sassy, but Tanya and I, with a special appearance by Shepherd, discuss the topic, “Don’t Even With Me.” If you know, you know. Haha. There are those things that get under our skin a little more than others, and once we all get started, it gets a little crazy and, therefore, a little funny, as we fume about the things that get our goat. From Facebook madness to travel manners and from snarky comments to pet carelessness, we get tickled at each other and pretty much egg each other on to see how far we can go. Please join us on Patreon for the fun.
We hope you enjoy yourselves as much as we do in this rousing game of “The Newlywed Game” featuring our friend, Denise Jones, from Point of Grace. Our gameshow host, Jarrett Dawson, secretly gathered answers from our husbands and the answers that follow lead to lots of great laughs. Be sure and check out Point of Grace’s website and socials for upcoming shows, Circle of Friends, and stunning new merch. ✨Available now on Patreon✨
To our beloved subscribers, this special appearance by Cindy Morgan will bless you so much. After reading her thoroughly enjoyable novel, The Year of Jubilee, Tanya and I have the distinct pleasure of meeting with Cindy from her home. We talk at length about the book, the idea for it, the characters and the possibility of a sequel. The questions that were burning in my heart throughout the entire reading of the book are answered. Since it’s a fiction story based on truth, I couldn’t wait to ask Cindy things like, “Did you really do that?” “Did that really happen?” “Is this character based on a real person?” Cindy graciously answers all our questions and so much more. In a discussion about the sovereignty of God, dysfunctional relationships, trauma, and merciful healing, we all sigh contentedly as we wrap up our time together. This book is one of the best I’ve ever read and Cindy is one of the sweetest people on the planet.
There was a lot happening between Franklin and Little Flock last week so Tanya and I have a fabulous time catching up on it all. We share our Memorial Day menus and recipes, laugh about Josh kicking her out of the attic, reminisce more about the wedding that happened one year ago, gush over Shawn’s very deserved honor in his hometown and finally, recap our fabulous Patreon guests this month, Denise Jones and Cindy Morgan. Thank you for being here!
Oh you guys, you will never believe what Tanya did last week! She met the milestone of her 100th barre class and she was honored by her instructor and barre mates with a party and the privilege of signing her name. I’m so, so PROUD of my friend and know you are too. Everything else we talk about kind of pales in comparison to this accomplishment, but we cover all the things and have a great time doing it. We discuss what we’re watching and listening to, the games we’re playing, the appointments we’re making, and the desserts we’re creating. When I say “we”, I mean Cliff. He masterminded a moonshine banana pudding cake that even impressed Jarrett. It all wraps up with another installment of cute and fun. You’re the best! Love, Jasa
✨Cindy Morgan!✨ will be joining us on our May Patreon to discuss her new book 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙅𝙪𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙚. You already love Cindy’s music; you will adore this book. Get it. Read it. Love it. 💖💖💖
The week’s episode is live! We had surprise guests and, of course, plenty of Peanut talk. Enjoy!
Have you ever laughed out loud at the most inappropriate time? Of course you have. We all have. Hear all about Tanya’s embarrassing story in this week’s episode. Also, we are so excited to bring you a Mother’s Day Gift guide! Don’t forget Mom! Have a great week, friends!
Did you catch last week’s episode? Jarrett had us so tickled. Good luck ever not thinking of Jodie Foster the next time you get a call about your car’s extended warranty. 🤣
Lean on in, dear listener, as we talk about our Easter celebrations with friends and family. Tanya had an early morning, outside service, while the boys and I attended church and hurried home for a homemade Easter feast - starring Jarrett’s Au Gratin Potatoes. Movies were watched, games were played, and naps were taken. It was a glorious Resurrection Day. I recap Shep’s Poetry Slam and Tanya slides in with some irresistible cute and fun items. Thanks for hanging out with us. Take care, Jasa
We are going there. Today, we dropped our latest Patreon Episode where we discuss narcissistic psychopaths and dangerous, unrelenting con men. Click on our Linktree at @superlatively_yes to subscribe.
Jasa’s time with Lisa was so special. We are so grateful Lisa took some time to chat with us. Lisa- let’s go get that tattoo when you get back to Tennessee! 😂
