It’s been awhile since I’ve posted here, but I want to keep Social Media with Amanda going! 😜 For the past 6 months, I have spent many hours on client work that I forgot that I am also my own client with keeping up with social media! Oops! 😂

It sounds like such a silly question, but are you being social on social media? 🤷🏼‍♀️ The algorithm is designed to “reward” those that spend time on their platforms, not just posting, but also engaging. It’s called social media for a reason! How can you create community around your brand if you aren’t putting in the time and effort into conversation?

For most business owners, the issue really is time. Social media never sleeps therefore it can feel like it’s own full time job while tackling the rest of your business. This is where a social media manager comes in handy. 😉 I help business owners focus on other pieces of their business- social media only has to be on their mind for a short amount of time once a week, during our scheduled calls and content approvals. 7 days a week, their social media is handled. 👌🏻

One of my favorite things about my job is being able to stay home and play in the snow with these four. ❄️ All of the day’s work was completed this afternoon, the kids’ schoolwork was done, and chores were taken care of- so playtime in the first snow of the season and some hot chocolate was the perfect reward!

Organic, authentic engagement is the best way to gain organic, real followers. Social media is all about being social! As a matter of fact, the algorithm is set up to basically reward you when you’re engaging! You should know your audience before you create your social strategy. Once you create your social strategy and see how your audience engages, then you can make changes to improve. When my new/potential client asks me, “Tell me about yourself!” I always start off with, “I’m a mom of four kids.” I have only had ONE person tell me that because of this, I was unfit for the position. 😳 It’s 2020! Would this person have said the same thing to a man if he announced he was a father of four? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I proclaim my family because I am not ashamed of them- they are my reason why! They are why I work so damn hard. They are the ones that keep cheering me on when I’m having a rough day. These four tiny humans, plus my husband, they are my rocks. ❤️ I do not believe in the slightest that I cannot do my job properly because I am also raising four kids. Is it a juggling act? Of course it is! This is why I am so passionate about being a . I help business owners spend less time on their accounts and more time with their family. I also have the amazing privilege of working anywhere, anytime! I can work from the dance studio, from the park, or locked in my bedroom while they’re all having a moment. While every day is different, because.... kids, I also have a fantastic support system in place so I can be the very best for my clients, while also making sure my kids are spoiled rotten with attention. 😉
