25-Year-old Man Kills His Mother's Goat In Ebonyi State After Taking Mkpurumiri.

A 25-year-old man simply identified as "Monday" has killed his mother's goat in Ebonyi State after taking a hard drug, Mkpurumiri.
According to report gathered by IGBERE TV, the incident which happened in Ishieke caused uproar as the young man equally burnt his mother's mattress.
An eyewitness told Igbere TV that it took the effort of able bodied men in the community for him to be tied for days before the effect of the hard drug was subdued.

The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji earlier today worshipped at Goodnews Pentecostal Church, Awolowo Street Extention, Umuahia.
The Speaker attended Service in the church to fulfill a promise he made to Mr & Mrs Chibuzor Ikwunze the day he paid them a condolence visit in their home.
Recall, that the four children of the couple died mysteriously few months ago after eating barbecue meat popularly known as 'Suya'.
Speaking to the congregation, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji thanked God for sparing the lives of the couple thus far because what happened to them was a devaststing tragedy. He advised the couple to take solace in God, do their best to forget the old ugly experience and move on because only God knows it all.
"From today, you will stop crying; look ahead for more prosperity; I will help you back on your feet and have a meaningful life", the Speaker said.
Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji also said that in fulfillment of his promise, he brought a car gift for Mr Chibuzor Ikwunze to help him make extra income.
He then gave Mr Ikwunze an automatic employment to work directly under Mr Uzochukwu Nwabufor, the Speaker's Special Assistant on Ikukuoma' s Free Water Scheme.
Hon Kelechi Onuzuruike, Deputy Chief Whip of Abia State House of Assembly, who accompanied the Speaker to the Service, gave a cheque for the accommodation rent of the couple for a period of two years.
In the same vein, the General Manager of Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA), Hon Eze Okwulehie, gave the couple a cash gift of N100,000 as his support towards their endeavours.
Responding, Mr Chibuzor Ikwunze thanked the Speaker for his undying love, compassion and benevolence to his family since the unfortunate incident that befell his family and prayed God to continue to bless the him in all his endeavours.
Bishop Ugochukwu Emmanuel Ogbonna, General Overseer of Goodnews Pentecostal Church, presented a Commemorative and Appreciation Award to the Abia Number One Lawmaker for his support and encouragement to the bereaved family.
Afterwards the Speaker presented the car gift to Mr & Mrs Chibuzor Ikwunze.
Hon Kelechi Onuzuruike, Member representing Umuahia North State Constituency, Chief Charles Ogbonnaya (Evuleogu Ibeku), Dr Obi Aguocha, President General of Ohuhu Welfare Union, Mr Eze Okwulehie, General Manager of Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA), Chief G. O. Onyemaobi and other friends and associates of the Speaker joined him to the church Service.

24 Years Old Nigerian Woman Declared Wanted By INTERPOL Over N5.3 Billion Allege Scam
Nigerian "businesswoman" Munachim Onyia has been declared wanted by the Interpol section of the Nigerian Police Force, following her involvement in an alleged N5.3 billion investment fraud.
According to Peoples Gazette, before going at large, Ms Onyia had been running MECO Enterprises, a sole proprietorship she registered in September 2018, according to companies’ registration filings. She also ran IBC Africa, an investment firm, and the eponymous Muna Investment, a Ponzi scheme through which she allegedly swindled unsuspecting investors.
A warrant of arrest issued for Ms Onyia by the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court and seen by The Gazette said she is wanted for obtaining money under false pretence and pretending to be a staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Kidnappers Break In Through Roof, Abduct RCCG Pastor, Female Teacher In Calabar
Suspected kidnappers have abducted a pastor of Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Sunday Adeniran and a female teacher in Calabar, Cross River State.
It was gathered that the duo were abducted from their residence at 8 miles, Ikot Eneobong Community,hilltop estate ,outskirt of Calabar metropolis a about 1:30 am on Saturday, November 13.
According to neighbours, the kidnappers gained entry into the apartment through the roof and whisked the victims away.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Irene Ugbo, who confirmed the incident to Vanguard, said the police was on top of the matter adding that the anti kidnapping and Cultism Squad AKCS were on the trail of the criminal while assuring residents of the area to remain calm.
"We are aware of the incident ,and the Anti Kidnapping and Cultism Squad, AKCS ,has already swung into action and on the trail of the kidnappers. We want to assure the residents of the area to remain calm ,we will smoke them out no matter what it takes , there is no space for criminality in any part of the state." she added.

Fredrick Lugard was the governor general of Nigeria between 1914 and 1919. Earlier he was the governor general of Hong Kong between 1907 and 1912.
Sir Frederick Lugard handed over as governor general in Nigeria to Walter H. Lang on the 25th of September 1918, and by 1919, he finished his administrative duties in Nigeria.

1. Hausa
The Hausa-Fulani has no ideals, no ambitions save such as sensual in character. He is a fatalist, spendthrift and a gambler.
He is gravely immoral and is seriously diseased that he is a menace to any community to which he seeks to attach himself.
2. Yoruba
Lagos has for 20 years opposed every Governor and has fomented strife and bloodshed in the hinterland.

But after some 29 years, and after nearly 12 years as Governor here, I am free to say that the people of Lagos and indeed the Westerners are the lowest, the most seditious and disloyal, the most purely prompted by self-seeking money motives of any people I have met.
3. Igbo
These people of predominantly Eastern Nigeria are fiercely rebellious with no regard for authority. Though industrious and religious, in deference to the objectives of her majesty and the crown, they are highly dangerous to be trusted with power.
They know all this thing and chose to give the power to the north so that it will be easier for them to indirectly rule others in proxy.
For those who believed they were nothing before the colonists came. Who told you? Igbo were already independently developed in their own world. They fought the British for over 30 years through the Ekumeku. They didn't want anyone to come and order them around. Igbo enwe eze. Ị bụ chi m? Are the philosophies guiding ndị Igbo. The British know this. The world know this. Igbo have their own republican and democratical system. The ụmụnna system unite the Igbo. If you try to impose ideologies and western leadership on Igbo, they must be rebellious to you.
Come to think of it, Lugard said: "though industrious". Don't you think this is the major reason some lazy folks hate on you? Industriousness is a follow come on every Igbo.
Being rebellious to the authority of the western world is not a new thing. The Igbo worldview is different. We worship no human. We lick no ass. We don't throw ourselves on anyone cos he or she has power. How can people from a different nation come to control us, tell us what to do in our own land whereas we were doing things, doing business with them; all of a sudden they decided to be forcing us to take those things we sell to them by force, then we begin to pay them tax over what we produce? Mbanụnụ.
A typical Igbo man will rather commit su***de than succumbing to any negative authority and subjugation.
When the Igbo like you, they massively like you. They don't hide it. If they hate you, they don't hide it. It's massive. They have the eyes on good market. Once they deduce bad market, they don't care...they back out no matter what you promise. They hate incompetency. Recent elections in Nigeria and their candidates can be used as a typical example of this.
I really wish some know who they are. Igbo anaghị eme nkụja.

Our Gallant Soldiers Neutralized ISWAP Terrorists, Destroyed 9 Gun Trucks, 1 APC in Borno - Army.
Troops of Joint Task Force, North East Operation HADIN KAI have neutralized several Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists during a recent encounter in Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. In the fierce encounter which is still raging as at the time of filling this report, troops supported by the Air Component of OPHK have deployed five A - Jet, two A-29, two Dragon combat with which they destroyed nine Gun Trucks and One APC.
Sadly, a gallant senior officer Brigadier General Dzarma Zirkusu and three soldiers paid the supreme sacrifice in a very rare diplay of gallantry as they provided reinforcement in a counter offensive against the terrorists, and successfully defended the location. The family of the senior officer and soldiers have been contacted.
The Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya deeply commiserates with the families and relations of the fallen heroes. He has also directed that the troops continue in the ferrocious counter offensive and hot pursuit to eliminate the remnant of the fleeing terrorists.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has assured the woman, Mrs. Augustina Ifebuchechukwu Eze, whose 7-year-old son was allegedly killed by her husband, Chidi Onyishi, for money ritual that the state government will do everything within its power to ensure that she and her children do not suffer.
Speaking when he led a delegation from Gov. Ugwuanyi to commiserate with the mourning woman and her children, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Information, Steve Oruruo stated that the state government will stand vigorously behind them to overcome the shock and mitigate their suffering.
Oruruo who disclosed that the governor was saddened by the news of the unfortunate incident, condoled with the woman and her children and prayed for the repose of the slain child’s soul, stressing that the act perpetrated by the father of six (her husband) was “unimaginable and unthinkable by all standards".
Consoling Mrs. Eze and her children, Oruruo who presented Gov. Ugwuanyi’s initial cash donation to them for interim upkeep said: “We want to reassure you that the state government will stand vigorously behind you and mitigate the suffering of your kids and contribute immensely to your recovery from this shock.
“And it is the wish of the government to use all legal means to ensure that there is diligent investigation and that the course of justice cannot be subverted. The government is poised not to allow it to be truncated.
“Everything that needs to be done will be done by Enugu State government to ensure that you find justice and overcome this challenge.
“Our governor is a good-minded person who is interested in your wellbeing and that of your children. So he has sent us to come and commiserate with you and reassure you that you will not stand alone. Government will be with you and will give you support as we pray that God will give you stronger reason to find comfort.
“The governor has delivered the sum of five hundred thousand naira (N500,000.00) to you and your kids in the interim and every other thing that should be done will be done and this interface will continue between you and the state government to ensure that you and your children are comfortable”.
Responding, Mrs. Eze, who said she was speechless at Gov. Ugwuanyi’s gesture, thanked the governor for his compassion and benevolence, explaining that she is still in shock over her son’s sudden death.

Air Strike by NAF Kill About 1500 Cows In Taraba
About 1500 cows were killed in an air strike at Fulani herdsmen settlement locations in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Daily trust gathered that a fighter jet launched an air strike at a Fulani herdsmen settlement around Kashinbila and Tor Donga areas on Wednesday and Thursday in which about 1500 cattle were killed.
The air strike, it was learnt, occurred at about 11am and 4pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
A victim, Sadu Saidu, told Daily Trust that he lost about 120 cows while his brother Sale lost 105 to the air strike.
“We are about to lead our herds to grazing area when we heard the sound of an approaching aircraft and it came with fire.
“We all ran for our lives and took cover under big trees and within minutes we countered about 700 cows dead and that was the first strike,” Sadu said.
He said the same aircraft came the following day for another air raid of the two settlements killing 750 cattle.

A heavily armed group, which identified itself as ‘Angry Vipers’ has threatened to attack Anambra-born businessman, Obi Cubana.
They issued the threat in a viral video on Thursday in which it also gave the Southeast Governors 21 days ultimatum to ensure the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Senate President Commissions Enyimba Automated Shoe Company in Aba
The Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan has said as the number three citizen of the country, he will do all within his capacity to ensure that the Enyimba Automated Shoe Company (ENASCO) survives and achieve the aims of its establishment.
The Senate President assured that the Senate will henceforth, will begin move to stop Federal Government Agencies from importing boots for their staff.
According to ABN TV, Lawan spoke on Thursday during the official commissioning of ENASCO in Aba.
“For Nigeria to become a prosperous country, she must embark on a must import substitution and hailed Abia Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu for taking the issue of unemployment seriously”, Lawan said
The Senate President who was accompanied at the commissioning by the Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Orji Uzor-Kalu, Senator Theodore Orji and other senators vowed to ensure that ENASCO becomes the hub of direct and indirect employment in the country.
We gathered that ENASCO has capacity to produce 5,000 pairs of shoes daily
At the moment, it has over 120 Abia youths directly employed as staff of the company.
"We cannot continue to import everything into Nigeria. We don't even have foreign reserves anymore. So, this project in addition to employing Abians directly, it'll indirectly provide jobs at the leather industries in other states.
"I believe that this project deserves the attention of every Federal agency more especially the ministry of industries itself and indeed the CBN must be looking at this direction so that it can expand.
"While we have 120 youths been employed here, I'm sure that two years after we should quadruple the rate of employment here and that will require improvement in all angles here. I'm sure that as one of you now, we'll push for more support for this particular industry.
"We have our agencies already making requests for boots and of course some garments by the time the garment industry takes off. I think we should do more than that. We must Nigerianize to create employment for our youths," he said.
Lawan said that as the Senate commence its budget defence, he will ask all senate committees that whenever they see agencies that require boots, they must make sure they come to Aba.
He said Nigeria cannot spend such monies outside anymore, adding that he believes that by the time the country stops importing what it can produce, the sky will be her limit.
Lawan added that If ENASCO is the only thing Gov Ikpeazu will leave behind, he must have left everything because unemployment is like a disease that must be tackled with seriousness.
He added, "Whatever you need to make this place work better, please call on me, I'll help whatever you think any Federal agency will do to enhance the capacity of this place, I'm waiting for you, your Excellency."

BREAKING NEWS: Office of the Attorney General of the Federation on Monday revealed moves to investigate the past administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan over a $10 billion contract that did not pass through due process. The Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami stated this when he appeared before the Senate Committee on Judiciary.
: Dear Attorney General; I know you're doing your job and acting within the Jurisdiction of your authority and mandate; but permit me to please put it to you to stop chasing men of dignity and integrity who has worked so hard to earn an unquestionable degree of self worth and honor and has been globally recognized and respected and go after those who has been, and are still currently laundering and embezzling our money even right under your watch.
Stop trying to make a public show out of nothing!
No administration was, and is still free from curruption till date in Nigeria, and even those literally caught red - handed in the very act are usually left to walk away free.
I don't mean to demean or disrespect your portfolio but if perhaps you've not known the good name Jonathan has brought to us, and as well as what this stateman that you're about harassing has done and accomplished for this nation, and that till date we're yet to fully pay and reward him for his service; then I would humbly suggest and appeal for you to make researches about him and his regime and juxtapose his administration with those of his predecessors and testify of the difference yourself.
Till date we're still recovering Abacha's loots, yet nothing has been done with it; and other loots recovered are still being relooted; while some, after indictment and are undergoing investigation and questioning before the pleanery usually pretentiously slumps, pretending to be dead; and in most cases, the investigations are always inconclusive and usually abandoned to aid another onslaught.
Jonathan was a faithful steward who served and is still serving his nation and representing us globally. At least under his administration he was able to accomplish the following and more:
1. He managed to pay fuel subsidy and yet sold fuel at N86 per liter.
2. He managed to swallow our insults, criticisms and protests without using the military and DSS to hunt us down.
3. He managed to handle our group protests and yearnings without calling us terrorists and nuisance and lazy youths.
4. He managed to control our borders and yet a bag of rice was sold for 8k.
5. He managed to build 17 federal universities in 17 states in Nigeria.
6. He managed to build almajiri schools in all the Northern Local governments.
7. He managed to hold $1= #165 for 4yrs
8. He managed to push Nigeria's economy to be number 1 in Africa.
9. He managed and fought Ebola without closing Schools, Banks, Courts, Mosques Churches and banning weddings/gatherings and without foreign intervention.
10. He never incurred unnecessary debts for us and didn't weigh us down with excessive loan burdens.
11 He managed to accept defeat in a rigged election and placed human lives beyond his political ambition which eventually earned him a more higher and a prestigious position as Peace Ambassador etc...
We're yet to find another like him and if possible millions will still vote for him if he decides to run in 2023 (Though he'll never try it again); so please halt your assault on him and stop playing your politically inspired jamboree investigation trying to distort his stainless and highly honored public image and as well as trying to discredit his credible reputation and notable personality.
Please Sir, learn to respect and appreciate men of honor and dignity, faithfully going about their businesses!

Pastor Chris Simon Amadi of Shalom Mercy Ministry in Aluu, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State has been arrested by the police for allegedly strangling his wife to death.
the ugly incident happened in their home at Mbodo Community after a disagreement over school fees payment in his wife’s school.
A relative to the wife who craved anonymity said trouble started when the deceased confronted her husband for chasing some of her pupils away from school for failing to pay on time, without first checking with her.
"When the wife confronted him, the pastor strangled her to death and wrapped her with clothes so that nobody will know".
"It was when we started calling her number but she wasn't picking that we decided to go to the house to know if everything is fine."
