Stop reaching out to me if you are just going to ask on how to optimize the game (Ta**ra) for yourself. If you love this game, then ask for it for the whole community and be better.

The state of that community at this moment is a smelly underground squatter area where people rush to sell their own versions of the game with minimal alternation. JUST IN IT FOR THE MONEY.

The game is supposed to be played for fun, not business and hate.

These people brag so much they can create their own servers and yet ask stupid questions here on how to improve their gameplay's framerate.

A long post but should summarize the thoughts.

I would like to officially announce my disconnection to World of Ta**ra Philippines.

I became an admin on this server way back in 2020 and it was a tough ride. In all honesty, Ta**ra Community as a whole was way too hard and tough to handle compared to handle other communities that I've handled before ( Dota 2 Cebu, Allods Rus/Eng community, etc.) probably because of the toxicity nature of how it evolves where players banter with each other and servers exchange insults.

I've joined this community with such intention to make a change that would connect everyone and hopefully enjoy the game to its fullest content. Ever since I've become an admin of WOT, I've always wanted to fix the main issue that any other servers have yet to acknowledge, and that is the issue of its frame rate.

Typically, MMOs that were created and released way back early 2000s - 2010 were poorly optimized. Game engines was not that good before and it was not meant to be played on modern hardware now but thanks to Microsoft's compatibility feature, it allows Ta**ra to be playable still at this point.

But behind all of this, there is still the issue of frame rate. The unstable frames are due to either bad coding or poor optimization or rather using an old API system.

In order to fix the problem, you will either rework the entirety of the game's source code, or use any methods to minimize the animation through some sort of config files but I find this unnecessary. You see, the latest advancement of technology we have these days should be enough the ran an old game like these so there's gotta be some way in order to fix these frame issues.

I've seen a lot of people suggesting modifications to their GPU software or rather, selling modified config settings to their own benefit. It makes me sick to know that this community does this type of transaction instead of spreading knowledge to better the gameplay experience for everyone.

The game has existed for more than 10 years and still not even a single person has entertained the said issue, not but me. At first, I know the problem lies in the API used on this game so I had to do tons of research in order to port this game to another API then after a couple of weeks, I stumbled upon an API Wrapper.

Tested it on me and it improved the gameplay's frame rate it was a success and was overly excited to share the settings with everyone right away but WOT's owner has something in mind, incorporate the settings entirely on the server side to make sure every player benefits from it and so we did.

Some may say that I am partly selfish because why I only had it under WOT and not other servers, well as stated above, I wanted to unite the community and I saw WOT was the way to make everyone play on one server and have fun instead of being segregated to other servers which would be impossible for me to do given the competition between other server owners so I decided to keep the API wrapper's existence exclusive to WOT for the meantime to use it as a selling point to allow players to play on the server, (a small step to my ultimate goal in uniting all players on one server). It may be a while before other leechers try to decipher it or traitors leak the source, but it did happen and it can't be helped.

Some may claim that the API Wrapper may have existed already but the fact that it existed and no one gives a sh*t about it no until we use it would make us the first one right?

Anyways, I'm still obsessed with my goal and I still see that the API wrapper may have improved the gameplay, but still frame rate drops are apparent during crowded areas and it still bugs me all the time so I had to continue my journey.

Done tons of research and found out that Ta**ra itself is utilizing only 2 cores of your CPU at a low core speed which is undeniably a dead end since this is how the game was coded and it was created for the hardware of its time (Year 2000s).

Using a Vulkan API which would allow it to utilize all cores was a big deal but the problem now lies on the amount of Draw Calls the game executes which is too much to handle, it needs an overall code fix to allow textures to get redrawn and repacked instead of individual textures popping off and gets streamed every single time.

Took me a month and finally found the solution, a mod that fixes the issue on this game's engine that should minimize the draw calls and compression of the textures and it was a beauty! Having stable 55fps to 60fps on crowded towns of Mandara and Kruma was astonishing and again can't wait to share this to the rest of the community.... not until an issue happened that changed my perspective..

You see, despite of my efforts and commitment for this goal, there are certain people that would really drag you down psychologically.
I did not get paid to do this nor had someone force me to do this, this was all for the community and what I get in return was full of hate and toxicity and I asked myself, after all the long and sleepless nights of me doing a research for this, was it all worth it to give these people the fruits of my labor?

People say I was evicted as an admin on WOT and spreading false information about me throughout the server. All I can say is it probably is right or wrong, who cares right?

I just had enough, getting accused of things I don't do, getting blamed for something I have not done, and getting shamed for something I wanted to do good for the community.

I may have found the solution but I am no longer interested in fulfilling this goal for this community so I am saying my farewell.

Sa mga nagtatanong, di na po ako WOT Staff, but will solely play online sa WOT for such good reasons.

So if pinagdudahan nyo ako na ako nag report sa Eye Spam or whatever na yan na di naman ako gumagamit, matagal ka na raw nireport ng mismong ka God/Guild mo. Tinawanan pa nga ako kasi huli na ako sa balita, ilang months kana palang na report technically wala akong kinalaman jan.

Open Macro yes, pero may limitasyon naman cguro kung saan considered pa na not gamebreaking pero yung pinaggagawa nyo para lang sabihin ang gagaling nyo, mag mumukha ka nang naka PARAM nyan :D

P.S laro2x nlng tong sakin, kung sino yung may problema sa DJ Voodoo dahil ayaw na mag launch ng ta**ra nila or pumuti na yung puno, tanong nyo sa kanya, alam ko fix nyan, na fix ko na ibang players ng WOT during my time there as a staff pero umiwas na ako sa role kasi busy na sa newborn ko kaya goodluck nlng paano ifix yan or rather, wag na gamitin, bumayad pa kayo sa kanya eh sira2x rin naman in the end, kahit anong DJ Voodoo version pa yan, kung di nyo alam tamang configuration settings nyan, mag lalag parin yan dahil sa crowd density ng Kruma.

The reason why we had to integrate the software through the server is to make sure that all players would benefit it.

In addition, by just simply using the software based on videos that you see on Youtube would rather cause issues on your game, let alone on your PC.

Common issues would be, Maps will look cartoonish, missing level of details (biglaang bundok nlng natitira), random server crash, connection issues and compatibility issues.

Most common issue would be for low end PC to end up not being able to play the game after using the app due to the software altering its PC settings to emulate something the PC can't handle and would cause harm instead.

The server side integration was planned ahead carefully and was tested on a test server before it was officially implemented to make sure na walang maapektuhan na player.

So mga naleak ng software na yan at kusa lang ginamit ng walang ka alam alam kung para saan yan in the first place, good luck. Kayo lang rin gumawa ng problems sa sarili nyo.

Hindi ipinagdamot ang software and talagang mahahanap mo lang yan online if matiyaga kang humanap ng solution instead na maghanap ng paraan para mag cheat.

Wag mong sabihing pinagdamot yan kasi in the first place, di mo yan mahanap kung di ka binigyan. If talagang easy lang pala mahanap, ang tagal na namin nagpaparinig, di naman kayo nag ingay ng ganyan ngayon not until may nagbigay sa inyo nyan na kusa ring umalis at manira.

Kung di rin kayo binigyan yan, awit di nyo rin siguro mahahanap yan kung di kayo pursigido maghanap ng solution sa problema :D

World of Ta**ra Philippines will always be a drafting board for everyone to freely copy.

Software reveal naba? baka kasi yung iba magbabayad pa para ma smooth yung gameplay nila eh sa World of Ta**ra Philippines libre na yan, wala ng install2x needed or modification sa PC mo.

Goodluck nga pala sa nagkalat at nagpauto kasi in the first place, proper settings and pre-requisites were not shared sa mga taong nagbebenta nyan sa inyo, Goodluck sa PC nyo :D ( goodluck sa launcher erorrs and windows version errors :D )
