Joining us was longtime listener and Superfan Sarah who, though she chose this awful show, at least helped us navigate through endless character names, backstories, and plots while being superfun! Long threatened, we finally did an episode of He-Man. We chose an episode called "The Rainbow Warrior" where once again Skeletor plots to capture Castle Grayskull but is defeated when He-Man shouts something about having the power. Make sure you get your reps in before listening as we go deep into this gym-bro cartoon.

This week we're watching The Wizard, a show about a super genius/inventor who disappeared after a long career of developing tech for the military who then resurfaces as a do-gooder toy maker. This season finale episode introduces a new robot character (voiced by Roddy McDowall), that will go on to define the show for decades. Probably.

This week we’re watching a show that helped us decompress after school; the Super Friends! The episode is called “Rub Three Times for Disaster” where the SF's battle an evil villain with the power of a magic genie at his command. Rub one out with us, won't you?

It's an action-adventure about Angus “Mac” MacGyver; a secret agent with a mullet who speaks multiple languages, degreed in chemistry and physics, served as a Special Forces Bomb Technician, and is an engineering genius using common junk-drawer materials to get out of tight jams. Ark II is a show that takes place in the year 2476 when pollution, waste, and war have ruined the planet and sent civilization back to the Dark Ages. The remaining “Scientists” developed a motorhome of scientific knowledge manned by 3 highly trained people…and a chimp. In an extraordinary case of self-loathing, Inside the Idiot Box yet again let’s Shawn Cantley choose a beloved show from his childhood that we crap all over. Space Cases follows an ensemble cast of alien kids lost in deep space through a complex web of plots, subplots, and melodrama. It has Star Trek-like prosthetics and weird hairdos without any of the production value of Star Trek but dammit if it doesn’t have a humanoid cat-man and a kid from Uranus (hehe).

The B-Plot involves s*xy, but determined, lady vigilantes on motorcycles patrolling the roadways and being really helpful citizens who therefore have to be stopped.

We've received a challenge from Desmond, gremlin and star of "Gremlins 3: Dawn of Desmond" (Nick Lutsko), to add more gremlin related content into our show. Challenge accepted! This July 4th look for the Inside The Idiot Box Office presentation of a Summer Movie Spectacular for "Gremlins 2: The New Batch". This movie boasts genetically engineered gremlins, Hulk Hogan (Hulk Hogan) and interspecific gremlin s*x (Robert Picardo)!
