Amazon and Games Workshop have confirmed they're working on TV shows and movies based on Warhammer 40,000. The news comes 12 months after the two sides reached an agreement in principle to develop adaptations of the miniature wargame for big and small screens.

The companies have now inked a full agreement, which gives Amazon the exclusive rights to develop films and TV shows based on the IP.

Games Workshop says an "elite band" of screenwriters is coming together to create the shows and movies. Assisting them will be Henry Cavill, a long-time Warhammer 40K fan, who will be an executive producer and perhaps star in some of the TV shows and films.

Rust - Unpacking

Well, I finally opened up Rust, by Facepunch, to see what the fuss was all about. I had it in my Steam inventory and figured it was time to give it a try.

It installed smoothly, as I had not played it before, and I got set up quickly. so far so good. I clicked on Play Game and was provided a selection of different servers to play on.

I figured since I am a noob, I will look for a noob friendly server. I didn't see any of those in the official servers.

I selected Community and found several servers that indicated they were Noob or Beginner friendly. I found a small one that was running Vanilla. Hope that was the right choice.

Asset Warmup took a bit of time - but I figure it is a big game. The music was . . . interesting.

When the game loads I am sleeping. When I awake, I find myself alone in the wilderness. In public chat I am told trust no one.

Shortly thereafter I was pummeled to death by another player, with a rock. Beaten about the head and shoulders.

I am going to go back in paying more attention. I will be back with updates when I can provide.
