So Trump decided to skip the White House Correspondents dinner which largely consists of leftist media. Out of morbid curiosity (which I forgot killed the cat), I thought 'Let me just listen to a speech or two. I know I disagree with their politics but maybe I'll have a laugh!" I wish I had rather decided to clean the toilet, because that would've been funnier. The first speaker I listened to was a woman who (in between championing women's rights by bragging about how much hair she has in her nether regions), managed to wish injury on Kelly Ann Conway, personally insult Sarah Huckabee Sander's appearance, and joke about knocking the baby out in an abortion... "Mike Pence thinks abortion is murder which, first of all, don't knock it 'til you try it — and when you do try it, really knock it. You know, you've got to get that baby out of there...." I am sure Trump must have regretted missing out on such wit. 🙄 Next year, I am painting a wall somewhere so I can watch it dry.

"Are you a First Amendment speaker expressing your views or are you a neutral public forum allowing everyone to speak?” Such a simple and critical question from Ted Cruz - and Mark Zuckerberg refused to answer it.

Two things that are a recipe for making bad laws:
1) Laws made off the exception; and
2) Laws made in reaction.
It is well known that hard cases make bad law, and so do knee jerk reactions.

Ok, so this happened. Sometimes, when you are incredibly liberal (and so open minded that your brains have unfortunately fallen out) it becomes necessary to randomly make up words in an effort to be politically correct. And then (of course) force your new words on others! 👏👏 👏 Like any good progressive, Trudeau knows it's not enough to just do what you want to do and tolerate others doing what they want to do - you have to force your beliefs on others.... So found out the poor lady who dared to use the word 'mankind' in Trudeau's presence😳 😳She was swiftly interrupted in the middle of her sentence by the more enlightened Trudeau and told IT'S NOT MANKIND, IT'S PEOPLEKIND. (Get it right, you backwards woman.) ... I love how Facebook underlines that word to tell me it doesn't exist. They don't even have an alternative spelling for it - LOL

Year end Rasmussen poll shows Trump at 46% APPROVAL rating and 53% DISAPPROVAL. Obama's poll numbers at exactly the same time in his first year of presidency were 46% APPROVAL and 53% DISAPPROVAL. Interesting that the poll numbers are exactly the same.

The Left eating their own.... Jimmy Fallon dared to interview Trump on his show and made the huge mistake of ruffling Trump's hair. Since then, his career has been in free fall. The common thread through all the comments on this NYT article is 'He treated Trump like he was a normal person. I have never watched his show since." Not fans of objectivity - or even a moment of viewing that doesn't support their viewpoint or push their propaganda. Fallon has repeatedly apologized for ruffling Trump's hair. Apology not accepted. This shouldn't surprise, but it just highlights the strength of the echo chamber on the Left these days. And these are the same people who used to sing "We don't need no thought control."

"But today, we finally acknowledge the obvious - that Jerusalem is Israel's capital. This is nothing more, or less, than a recognition of reality. It is also the right thing to do. It is something that has to be done. That is why, consistent with the Jerusalem Embassy Act, I am also directing the State Department to begin the process to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem." (President Donald J. Trump)

Watching 'Hacksaw Ridge.' My thoughts so far as I am watching...

1) Of all the rights, freedom of conscience is one of the most precious. It was Albert Einstein who said "Never do anything against conscience, even if the state demands it."

2) Young people back then valued freedom to the point of giving up their lives for it. Many of today's young people are so scared of hearing an opinion they disagree with that they have no problem sacrificing freedom on the altar of feelings. Previous generations believed freedom was worth dying for. This generation doesn't believe it's worth some hurt feelings. Very worrisome.

Oh, what a night... I remember going from this 🙈 to this 👏👏👏 to this 💃🏻.... all alone in my living room watching the weird events unfold. Whether you were devastated or ecstatic (I don't think there was anyone who felt anything in between), you have to admit it was an election that will be etched into the memory banks for many years.

Amazing interview with the small-town hero that stopped the Texas shooter. Such an ordinary, salt-of-the-earth, genuine guy who heard the gun-fire and was brave enough to leave the safety of his own home and take action. Quite emotional to hear his detailed account of what happened.

An exclusive interview with Stephen Willeford, the hero who ended the killing spree in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Stephen recounts the actions that lead him ...

What on earth is happening with today's university students? This is going to make me sound old, but back in my day, we fought to be able to say whatever we wanted, no matter how offensive it was to the State or anyone else. We stood firm against the 'system', pushed the boundaries and protested ANY form of censorship. God help them if they tried to tell us we couldn't say something. These days, they are literally lining up for censorship straight jackets and putting their arms out. "Please restrict me or anyone else from saying something that offends me." Snowflakes. They need to read their history books and see how hard people had to fight for their freedom to be 'offensive.' Offensive is a subjective term. What's offensive to you is not offensive to others - hence freedom of speech for all regardless of how it makes others 'feel.' Since when did 'feelings' start to trump actual rights? This is a bit of an angry post, but I am quite disgusted by those who put their arms out for shackles on their own freedom of speech and try to force others do the same. To date, no-one has ever died from hearing an opinion they disagree with.

1) Players who took a knee during the anthem were loudly booed by their fans;
2) NFL Sunday night viewership took its biggest dip of the season this weekend; and
3) The one player from the Steelers who actually pitched up for the national anthem became the biggest selling player in the entire NFL within 24 hours.
The market is speaking.

As the entire Steelers team stayed off the field during the national anthem, one of their players broke rank and came onto the field - standing, singing, and putting his hand over his heart. I don't think it's a coincidence that he is a former army ranger. Powerful statement by the lonely military vet. Worth watching.

“Alejandro Villanueva was the only Steeler to come out for the National Anthem, standing in the tunnel. https://t.co/L4EtxRQSvA”

Chelsea Handler wants to know if the US can rather have a murderous, communist, nuke-shooting, anti-freedom dictator please. How do you even hold a conversation with such stupidity, let alone attempt an intelligent debate? With comments like this, I understand why a lot of Conservatives don't even bother to engage. They just stay quiet and vote.

“The problem in Venezuela is not that socialism has been poorly implemented but that socialism has been faithfully implemented." (Donald J. Trump at the UN)

There's a quote that will stand the test of time....

Along with Winston Churchill's one - "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."

And Reagan's one - "Socialism only works in two places: Heaven where they don't need it and hell where they already have it."

Benjamin Netanyahu said yesterday that relations between Israel and the US have never been better than they are under Trump. Kind of blows a hole in the n**i / antisemitism hysteria the MSM is trying to push. That's aside from the fact that Trump's daughter and his grandkids are Jewish.

Trevor Noah slams leftist group ANTIFA in this clip... Bearing in mind that he has gone full blown Progressive since moving from South Africa to the US, he probably took a lot of flack from his The Daily Show fans for agreeing with Trump on an issue. You can say "Oh well, so what? The point he makes about Antifa is obvious." But in today's partisan world where your entire audience leans a specific way, objectivity is an act of courage. Credit where it's due.

In response to emboldened neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups, an anti-fascist movement called "antifa" has starting fighting back through doxing and viole...

Liberal magazine Charlie Hebdo saying that God is killing Texans because they are N***s. I support their legal right to be as offensive and hateful as they like, but what a prime example of the hypocrisy of the 'tolerant' left... bigoted stereotyping of everyone in an entire state while they try make a (ridiculous) point about Texans being bigoted. Trump invited Martin Luther King's niece to lead the crowd in prayer at his rally in Arizona this week, and she used the moment to pray against abortion. “Dear Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, by the power of Your Holy Spirit we come; thanking you for your love, mercy and grace; asking that Your mercy temper the judgment we surely deserve.. We pray in deep and sincere repentance asking for Your forgiveness of our sins. We have slaughtered our weakest in the womb, the poor, the elderly and infirm in the name of reproductive rights and social justice....Oh Lord, forgive us.”
