Church Of England Affirms Gay S*x Is A Sin - No, you didn’t misread the title. This is happening now in the UK in 2022. Here are some selected extracts from a recent article in The Guardian:

“Justin Welby, the archbishop of Canterbury and leader of the global Anglican church, has sought to mollify conservative bishops around the world by “affirming the validity” of a 1998 declaration that gay s*x is a sin. He told more than 650 bishops attending the once-a-decade Lambeth Conference that, for “a large majority” of conservative Anglicans, questioning biblical teaching was “unthinkable”.”

The term ‘unthinkable’ is an irony that will not be lost on most atheists. In the same article, Justin Welby went on to say:

🎬 The Independent Inquiry in Child Abuse report was released on Thursday which courted quite a bit of media attention in the UK.

👉 The report looked at the unacceptable level of child abuse in the within religious organisations in the UK. It said that there are “shocking failings” and “blatant hypocrisy” in the way major UK religious groups handle child s*x abuse allegations.

The Independent Inquiry in Child Abuse report was September 2021. The report looked at the unacceptable level of child abuse in major UK Religions.

👉 Latest: Commission finds that there has been an estimated 330,000 victims of child s*x abuse in French Catholic Church since 1950...

The report said an estimated 3,000 child abusers - two-thirds of them priests - worked in the church from 1950 to 2020.

Not only did the church not take the necessary measures to prevent abuse but also turned a blind eye, failing to report abuse and sometimes knowingly putting children in touch with predators the report found.. Again the so called men of god, the church itself knowingly complicit in abuse of children.

❓ The question is simple... Did god, who apparently sees all, know this was going on and did nothing about it? And where do these Christian abusers get their morals from?
