Hey there! Here's the last participant of our podcast team 😀
Joel has a legal background and successfully completed his formal training in law. He is a pro European Union campaigner and has a series of articles about European law and Brexit. He is part of this project because he wants to talk about breaking down barriers between people with travel and education. Disasters like Brexit happen where you have an uninformed population who are not open to other cultures which limits worldly education and keeps minds closed.
In his spare time Joel enjoys making music, learning Spanish and Norwegian and growing his hair. 😆 He also is part of a podcast with Bettina called Europe Calling which discusses various issues across the European continent. 🇪🇺

It's very interesting here: meet another one of our podcast hosts! 🤩

Bettina was born in Germany but has felt strongly European ever since. She did a bachelor’s degree in International Business with French at the University of Warwick (UK) during which she also studied Politics, International Relations and Journalism at Sciences Po Paris.
She then started working in London where she was also elected the President of the Young European Movement UK. After that, Bettina became a team leader for a UN international development project in Bolivia, before working as a journalist in Germany for more than two years.
She is currently writing her thesis for her double master’s degree in Migration, Integration and Transcultural Mediation in Venice (Italy), Sousse (Tunisia) and Montpellier (France), during which she has also worked for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, in Copenhagen (Denmark). 🌍

Ilya lives in St-Petersburg, Russia. In 2009 he became a project coordinator at the Street Law NGO, the Youth Human Rights Group and later School projects. In 2014 he became an educator at School and leader of the debate club.
From 2015 Ilya has been taking part in the international youth exchange and trying to develop non government international connection between Russia and Europe. 🗺️

Another French team member is an eco - warrior? 🤔
Elena has always been interested in protecting the environment, that’s why she studied biology and eco-construction. After her studies, she worked in the building industry for almost two years, and volunteered in different ecological organisations that campaign for salvaging food from being wasted in order to raise awareness about climate change.
A year ago, Clément and Elena created their organisation called Gaïa Prod, which produces informative and artistic podcasts to raise awareness about ecological issues. They started to interview local people that created initiatives. Now They are producing stories about imaginary futures that question our current society. Right now, Elena still volunteers for different projects and is also a writer and a traveling-farmer in the making. 🌱

Clément lives in Nantes and works as a sound engineer for Gaia Prod organisation which makes podcast about ecology. He cultivates fruits and vegetables to be independent. It's really important for him to change the society because the effects of global warming are omnipresent so we have to change our way of life. 💪

Meet another member of the Polish team! 👋

Michał is a young psychology student, he chose this faculty because he likes learning new things, both about other people and himself. He is in this podcast because he likes talking (sometimes too much 😁), expressing his opinions and exchanging ideas with others. He hopes he can find like-minded people on the Internet. He loves blues music, italian food, martial arts and fantasy books. He is also trying to learn guitar, Spanish and French language and in the future he wants to be a psychologist or a mediator. His favorite quote is "If human brain were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple we couldn't".

Introducing Yaryna! Today is her birthday btw! 🥳

Yaryna is student studying Journalism and PR. Originally she is from Ukraine, but currently lives and studies in Poland. She also volunteers in a local association of international projects called INPRO. She is a host of an interactive workshop called Open Café which conducts its activities in English. It is based on social communication and integration between locals and foreigners. When she was at school she wanted to work on radio station so making podcast is a great opportunity to develop her journalistic skills. Yaryna’s favourite hobby is singing. 🎶
