(From the page of Richard Buathier) FLASH BACK THURSDAY..... BLADE INDEPENDENT STUDIO founded by Mark Allen Brown back in the early and I really mean the early 80s. BLADE was Sandusky's 1st Original film group, and along with Patrick Conley, Brian Runkle, David Witter, and Lester Daniels, Mark and the BLADE crew were all about taking a camcorder and putting something to gather for the love of movies. Then after making a bunch of shorts films like The Little Martian, Jeers and Jeers 2 : The Sequel came one of BLADE STUDIOS most popular characters, WItchface . One of the most dangerous villains in low budget history. Played by many people, but the 1st guy to play Witchface was Patrick Conley. WITCHFACE spawned off many stories over the next 10 years. From there, BLADE came out with other new and original stories that eventually became very popular like The Natives Are Restless, Cenobium, The Evil Eye, A Darker Light, and my personal favorite, The Wimp Trilogy. Not just because I got top billing or the star of the series..... ok, maybe that had something to do with it..🤪but it’s just because Mark and Lester knew I could do it. And for that, I will always be very appreciative of that chance. Ever since 1990, I’ve loved acting and working with really good people. So, I wanted to give a shout out to all the wonderful people I’ve got to worked with from 1990 -1997 with Blade Studios: MARK ALLEN BROWN, PATRICK CONLEY, BRIAN RUNKLE, DAVID WITTER, LESTER DANIELS, ALEX BUATHIER, ALAN MILLER, MICHELLE W**D STOFFER, TODD MOORE, DREW BUATHIER, MATT WARD, ADAM SHOWALTER, KATHARINE KRUPP CONLEY, JOSH WALAAND, KEITH MUNDEN, MICHELLE ROSENBERG, and many others that I had a pleasure working with in Blade..... great memories 1990—-1997
