This week there will be no streams. I’m taking some much needed time off. I’m delighted to be able to take my family to LEGOLAND for a few days. This is definitely helped by your financial contributions as paying members, affiliate link users and on stream donations. You guys even donated some spending money specifically for LEGO purchases for the kids and even for my wife.

I can’t tell you how incredible that feels. It makes me question what I have done to be in this incredible position. I appreciate you all. There will be updates and photos within our discord so that you can enjoy the trip a little too.

Rate my bundle!

I was challenged by Asetek SimSports to build my dream bundle, and here it is. You might be surprised that I went for their ‘entry level’ wheelbase but honestly, you need to try it to understand why. For me it represents amazing value. SURE, if I had all the money in the world I’d get the Invicta. But ‘get more money’ isn’t really good advice. The La Prima is a forever wheelbase in my view and these are the excellent accessories that I would buy with them. The extra QR is for those attractive steering wheel rims from other companies.

The Forte pedals are my pick of the Asetek Simsports pedal offerings, so I would choose them regardless of budget.

Having an Assetto corsa simulator at work which works like an arcade machine, is a dream that I’ve had for many years. No keyboard or mouse. No knowledge required. 24/7 operation and completely unmanned. Oh! And a persisted leaderboard of course 🙂 really really loving it!

Video editor wanted for my long term reviews:

**Why I need an editor**
I'm not very proficient at editing and struggle to find the time. It's the single biggest thing that limits my content output. I have a huge backlog of almost 20 long term sim racing hardware reviews right now. This is pretty embarrassing, stressful and mentally debilitating. I am struggling to find the time to finish videos between work, family life and injury (tore a tendon in my thumb and damaged ligaments). By hiring an editor, I aim to get more reviews finished without compromising the quality or integrity of my content.

**Process**
You will have all the video clips needed in order to complete the review. It will contain a full voiceover which contains all of the things I want to say for the review. You will know the exact length of the end video. You just need to overlay the correct footage based on what is being spoken about. I will provide a folder full of video and sound files. It will consist of:

1. Voiceover recorded by me and fully edited. This is the final voiceover.
2. OBS screen captures
3. Usage during first impressions
4. Software install/use
5. Outdoor/indoor footage including on rig footage
6. Intro/outro video clips

I use youtube audio, epidemic sound and streambeats.com for background music.

**Expectations & Freedoms**
I'm not looking for anything new or too exciting. See my existing long term reviews playlist, the format is very consistent: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-Sab0uZBSqemxUaSxH0zTQb_AdSWxrnO . You will be responsible for providing me with a video file. I will take care of the rest (thumbnails, uploading, etc).

While I have a simple format, this is due to my existing limitations of time and talent. I'm very open to artistic input and streamlining. For example, I do no colour correction, presets, etc. I want the editor to enjoy the work and be proud of the end result. I want to adjust to YOUR workflow. So I can drop the files where you need them to be to make your life as easy as possible.

I am not in a position to provide you with editing hardware or software licences.

**Summary**
The ideal candidate loves sim racing and understands hardware. I'm looking for a long term, rewarding partnership. Those of you who know me know that I am more than generous with the limited financial and hardware resources that the channel has. I'm not looking to get 20 reviews done in the coming weeks. I wouldn't be able to keep up with that. At most I will have the content for 1 review ready every week, as my reviews are in varying states of completion right now. Again, I want this to be fun for us both.

Message me if interested but, with respect, I'm not looking to help somebody to learn to edit videos. You need to have a track record as I need this to save me time. I'm looking for experienced video editors with their own software licences and hardware.

I hope this is a good move. It's going to cost me, but the channel needs it.

Very excited to do a video on this! I’ve teamed up with my workplace & to build this arcade style setup using software. It is completely autonomous and doesn’t even require a keyboard and mouse, yet it keeps a full hotlap leaderboard. I’ve used hardware with a wheel stand. This makes real simulation accessible to those who just want to sit in and drive.

The little tray for the wheels of a desk chair are just the best idea ever. I know they’re not unique to but this wheel stand 2.0 is very very good. Much better than any comparable product I have ever used or reviewed.

This product has not been sent for review. I am using it as part of a build for a setup at work. I’m very impressed so far though. It’s rock solid with the R5 on there.
