SPOKEN POETRY

Last week august 15,2019 at time of 9am to 12nn, Informatics the spoken poetry in room 208 of school hosting by student and the participants are some of students in informatics. They showed their talents by writing poetry. Every section haved a representative. All of us, enjoyed the event.

And this is the list of section , jean piaget and the other section, and some of them are lucky to win, and the other is sad because some of them is defeated but its alright because we saw the wonderful performances.

MUSIKANG ACOUSTIC

Last week august 16,2019 at time of 4pm. Informatics the Musikang acoustic in front of school hosting by sir jasper diaz and the participants are the students of Informatics College. They showed their talents by singing and using instruments. Every section haved a representative they haved singers, rappers, guitarists and the one who knows how to beatbox. All of us, enjoyed the event.

And this is the list of section won; John lasseter, mark zuckerberg, B.F skinner, steve jobs,larry page and even more The unlucky are happy with what they show because they are a lot of fun even though some if them is sad to defeat. They haved lost their self-confidence. Still they do the best to preform and make us satisfied. Still, we saw the wonderful performances. watch out for the finals held in the informatics court in August 28 10-11 am. We look forward to their next performance.

NUTRITION MONTH

Informatics College Northgate celebrated Nutrition month with the theme
'KUMAIN NG WASTO AT MAGING AKTIBO PUSH NATIN TO' on July 26, 2019 with different activities held in the school ground of informatics, students are participated in these event from the food exhibit, slogan, poster making, digital poster making and to the last the Wellness dance.

Every representative of per section showcase their talents from cooking , writing,drawing and also dancing. There's a lot of circumstances experienced due to prepation of this event but still students join and enjoy the event.

The coverage of this event are the Wellness dance, per section submitted their video and gain heart react to belong in the top 5 for finals but still 3 section won the title of Champion, 1st and 2nd place.

SLOGAN MAKING CONTEST

With every new month comes a new theme and a new saying, in which the slogan making contest reappears.

On August 13, 2019 at Informatics College Northgate, the slogan making contest was held. Competitors from different sections partcipated in this activity. There were many who used colorful and attractive designs, while some chose to simply input their saying plainly but with the intended meaning still present. The theme for this month is 'Wikang Katutubo: Tungo sa Isang Bansang Pilipino'. The participants thought of and chose to write down their thoughts relating to the said theme.

The contest was held at the school library at exactly 10:45AM to 12:45PM. Although we were unable to take pictures of the students participating, their works were instead displayed by the stairs of the school. All of them are interesting and eye catching, so we are further anticipating the predicted winners. With the success and beauty of their works, the month of August's culminating day will surely be successful.

POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

August 13, 2019, Informatics College Northgate held a Poster Making Competition for Buwan ng Wika. It happened in the Informatics Library where all the MilleniA.R.T.S. Officer was there to accommodate the participants. With the theme "Wikang katutubo: Tungo sa Isang Bansang Filipino", students came up for different and amazing ideas for their posters. The basis of votings are from the judges (80%) and students (20%). Their posters must be appropriate for the theme.

Their posters are posted on the sides of stair of the school. August 28, 2019 is the announcement of winners of the competition with the help of all the coordinators and teachers of Informatics College Northgate.The winners of the competition will receive a medal and certificate as a prize. Win or lose students must appreciate the works of their schoolmates. There are more activities for the Buwan ng Wika and students should enjoy them.

JINGLE PREPARATION ON GOING

One of the many highlights of Informatics College Northgate's 'Buwan ng Wika' is the performance of all the sections of senior high school and college students of their own rendition of a jingle or 'tugsayawit' related to the theme.

The theme for the month of August's activities is 'Wikang Katutubo: Patungo sa Isang Bansang Filipino'. The students are assigned to think of a concept that involves a song and dance regarding the said theme. This performance will be recorded and posted to the official page of the school for all the students to see. The day for posting the video is drawing nearer. Because of this, the students are polishing their moves and trying to perfect their performance for the filming.

Currently, the students are practicing before and after classes. They are seen mostly at the front of the school, tune corresponding to their dances. With their hard work, even the teachers have expressed their curiosity on behalf of how well the students will perform. As for those who aren't included, they are excited and continiously cheering and supporting their classmates and friends. This will surely be the highlight of August's 'Buwan ng Wika'.

LAKAN LAKAMBINI

August 13 2019, Informatics Northgate college held the photoshoot for lakan lakambini at 12 o'clock pm in the informatics facade and school grounds in preparation for the upcoming Elimination of lakan lakambini.

The most waited event is approaching soon and so the contestants was oriented in preparation for the big event. Mr. Philip Santos, the coordinator of the event with the help of his co teachers held the said event.

August 15 2019, Informatics Northgate college held the most awaited event in the campus the lakan lakambini which occurred in the informatics facade and school grounds at around 3 o'clock pm 10 candidates for lakan and another 10 candidates for lakambini has been chosen from different sections.
