New year new food! I took a little break from posting but that doesn’t mean I stopped eating!

I was invited to check out Soulvaki Greek Cuisine and I’m so glad I was. I love Greek food! I mean how can you not when they put a huge hunk of feta on top of the salad? Plus baklava has been one of my favorite desserts for as long as I can remember and this one totally hit the mark. I’m also a huge fan of lamb, and loved that the pita came with fries inside!!

What a feast!! If you haven’t checked out the food yet at East West Coffee Wine you’re missing out! It was love at first bite with the soujuk omelette and between the cheese plate, cheese Spring roll, and Halloumi cheese I was in absolute cheese heaven! 🧀🍳

Everything about this meal gave me the best feels! I was looking for something comforting with some heat and found just that in the Thai Vermicelli. It definitely packed a punch but the coconut milk based peanut sauce kept the dish in check. Hidden under the noodles is ground chicken and shrimp. The crispy garlic and tempura vegetables added the crunch I needed between bites of the soft rice noodles. It was seriously perfect.

🥇 Best Bite: As much as I loved the vermicelli I ordered, the surprising winner for me was the fried pumpkin! The crunchy outside, and the soft and warm center was so comforting for a fall night.

I absolutely loved Gravitas so I was super excited when I snagged reservations to experience Chef Baker’s newest concept, Michele’s this past weekend. The plating was beautiful and the dishes were creative! The presentation for the whole fish was a jaw dropper, not to mention it had the most perfect crispy skin. This is one I’ll definitely have to revisit! ⁣🥂
