So that AARO report that came out of the US Government a couple days ago is unsurprisingly disappointing.

Massimo Teodorani--friend of the podcast, physicist, researcher of bizarre lights and all around awesome person--wrote his impression of the report. I agree wholeheartedly with his take on it, so I wanted to present it here for the listeners.

I can't help but think that if the people on the committee that produced this report had read the books , journal articles and research notes I have just read in the past 12 months, they might have come out of it with a different conclusion--or, maybe not. I think they went into their "investigation" with their conclusion already fully formed in their minds.

Skepticism is good only when it is healthy and when it is driven by honesty. Otherwise, it is only a different form of fake.

I wish a happy, healthy new year to all my Keelian friends.

I also want to let you know, that the podcast is going to change over the next year. I'm no longer going to do a weekly podcast: I'm going to go down to 1 or 2 podcasts per month.

The reason is because I am nearing the end of the research phase of the book I'm working on with Joshua Cutchin, and with the end of that phase, we come to the writing phase.

Once that starts, I'm not going to be able to create podcast episodes that are up to my standards. I won't be able to research, make episode art and find guests and record as many episodes as I'm used to.

So, until the writing is done, look for the podcast to be much more sporadic than before. If I find someone I want to talk with, I will record them and edit and release it when I can.

In the meantime--there's 150 episodes up and available for listens. And, I intend to guest on other people's podcasts, because that's so low stress and effort on my part that it's not even funny.

I'll keep posting art and entertaining articles here and on Instagram.

One question I asked in the podcast isn’t answered in the podcast—-but the night I edited and illustrated this episode, it came to me in a dream. The question was, why, if humans first domestication success was the dog from the wolf, were humans so terrified of wolves and werewolves? Wolves fear modern people more than we fear them. So why do Dogmen and apparitional werewolves terrify us so?

I’ll give the answer I received from a dream the night I finished editing the episode and working on the cover art in a couple of days.

Drew is back with more stories of the ongoing High Strangeness that is his life. Shadow men, strange lights, poltergeist activity animal reactions to UFOs, and so much more.

As always, Drew is engaging and fun, and he always brings up interesting ideas and questions.

Near the end we talked about the burial mounds that both Drew and I grew up around, but we didn't get to get into that subject as deeply as it deserved. While I am certain they were built by ancestors of modern Native Americans, there's so much to the subject that is even more interesting. So next year, look for an episode about the landworks here in the US.

But that's the future, now, just relax and have a listen to Drew and I having a lively discussion!

Deb Kauble is a wonderful author, podcaster, investigator and friend to fellow experiencers. She first was known in the UFO community as Kathie Davis in Budd Hopkin's book, "Intruders."

Here, she tells all the stuff that UFO researchers at the time wanted to leave out of experiencer's narratives. Paranormal, psychic and poltergeist activities abounded in her life along with UFO visitations from her childhood to the present day. These once "hidden" experiences are finally being accepted and looked at seriously by investigators.

This is a great thing: even though John Keel famously said way back in the 1960's that if you asked a UFO witness about paranormal events in their life and the lives of their family members, you'd find out more about the place UFOs occupy in their lives than if you ignored that link.

Anyway, Deb is a wonderful human being and was so much fun to converse with. I hope you enjoy listening, too......

Karly Latham is a very fun and funny person. She’s also an experiencer and her stories illustrate how weird experiences can not only change a person, but can also help heal from PTSD and other mental illnesses. They can also help an experiencer turn trauma into art. There’s some adult language here—not too much, and that’s on me for forgetting to say anything. Please give Karly a listen because she really has some interesting things to say about the paranormal.

In light of the terrorist attacks targeting Jewish people by Hamas in Israel this week, instead of my scheduled episode, I re-uploaded this episode I did with Morganna a few months ago.

There's likely to be a backlash of anti-Semitic remarks, posts and recriminations as the military retaliates in the weeks to come, and I want people to understand that many of the conspiracy theories believed now about Jews have their roots in medieval Europe.

Don't argue politics below with me if you don't like what I'm saying. Either don't listen and move along and come back next week when the episode is Mike Clelland and I talking about otherworldly things, or just move along.

FWIW, my heart goes out to the non-terrorist Palestinian people who live in Gaza, and who are being poorly served by the "leadership" of Hamas. And my heart goes out to those Israelis killed gruesomely by Hamas and their families and friends.

It is always civilians I stand with. Always. And yes. I'm horrified by all of this.

In light of the horrifying events in Israel, instead of a new episode this week I’m reposting the episode Morganna and I did on the medieval roots of antisemitism. Next week, look forward to hearing from Mike Clelland.
