Reflecting on the humble beginnings of my freelancing journey, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the winding path that has brought me here. There were moments when the weight of self-doubt threatened to pull me down, days when the question lingered in my mind, "๐จ๐ ๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐?"
With no one to lean on but my own determination as the breadwinner, I embraced the challenges that came my way. ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ, ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ. Each day was a new opportunity to refine my skills, to offer more valuable services to those seeking assistance.
Freelancing, as I've discovered, is a journey marked by financial, mental, and emotional instability. The ebb and flow of income, the mental battles questioning one's value to businesses, and the emotional roller coaster of fleeting projects can be overwhelming. My services are often geared towards achieving short-term goals, and once those goals are met, I find myself at a crossroads.
Surprisingly, this roller coaster of a journey has led me to almost four years of being a virtual assistant. It's a testament to the leap of faith I took. A leap of faith that acknowledges the challenges but relies on the belief that there's a purpose behind this path. One that required trust not only in my abilities but also in God.
