SO YAN, BEHIND THE NAKAKAINGGIT PHOTOS OF MINE, THERE’S ME CLEANING TOILET FOR OTHER PEOPLE. NEVER KO IKAKAHIYA YAN BECAUSE IT MADE ME A BETTER PERSON.

Now, I can’t blame people who celebrate their small wins on different social media platforms…

Posting their travels and adventures with their loved ones.

Sharing their newly-bought luxurious items.

Capturing their moments in fine-dining restaurants.

And more…

Sometimes, people tend to work hard so much to achieve their dreams. Sharing their small wins on social media give them a sense of fulfillment because they worked hard for it.

Posting these things in social media tends to show the world that life is perfect. Maybe? 🤔

This is why other people tends to contradict this kind of people who post “the perfect life” on social media because they think it gives the future generation an idea that everyone is required to be perfect. In which sometimes could make them mentally depressed if they couldn’t pass the criteria of being one.

Here’s the thing...

LIFE ISN’T PERFECT.

I usually post the happy life I have. Yes, I am actually happy and that is because of my life’s imperfections. I am contented with my at-the-moment life situations and having this imperfect life makes me want to achieve more. This makes me happy because that means life goes on.

Despite these small wins and blessings, I want to show you the behind-the-scenes of our little successes abroad. It’s really hard. We work for other people. We work for money. We work for transportation means. We work for food. We work for shelter. We work for emergency fund. We work for our dreams. Most importantly, we work for the sake of our family. And there’s a lot more reasons why...

This is why I am working hard and smart at the same time because I want to change this kind of system abroad. I want money to work for me. Someday, if my experiment is right and feasible, I will be able to share it with other people too.

There’s a reason why you are reading this up to the end of what I am saying because somehow and somewhat, you can relate.

I’m not shy to let other people know that I am domestic helper in hongkong at the moment even though I had my bachelor’s degree in Philippines. I will never be shy of taking the courage of getting out of my comfort zone and bringing the best out of me.

I used to have a fairytale-like lifestyle in the Philippines... everything was so easy for me. I got parents who give me everything.

Thank you for spending your time reading this. Life may not be perfect but you can make it perfect by filling in what’s lacking in it because LIFE IS A NEVER-ENDING JOURNEY.
