I was going to continue my SL1 run on Twitch this evening, but I’m going to move it to tomorrow afternoon. Going to take the night to rest and try to nail out the rest of the run tomorrow!

For now, until I can get all of the parts involved working, I’m going to have to stream to Twitch. I suspect that my laptop can’t handle what it’s supposed to put out CPU/GPU-wise 😔 but I’ll keep tinkering.

Alright, test stream: ✅

There were a couple of issues that I encountered, and if anyone has ever dealt with the same thing and has any solutions, I'd really appreciate it!

1. The stream is laggy framerate-wise. I put it into Performance Mode in OBS and it seems to have improved some. What else could I do? I hope it's not just my laptop not being able to handle it...

2. I've obviously gotten the hang of streaming to Facebook, but how should I stream concurrently to Twitch? When I used the Broadcast function on my PS4, like I usually do for Twitch, all of my audio settings in OBS got all messed up.

3. Once those major issues are solved, I'd like to try to put some overlays on, like a chat box and "like/follow/share" notifications. How do I do that?

Thank you to everyone for the new likes throughout the week! I plan to do a test stream tomorrow to see if everything is working okay...I have to work on the logistics of connecting my laptop (MacBook), capture card, PS4, and TV all together haha.

I think I managed to get the capture card set up correctly...I hope. 🤣 I plan to do a test stream later on to see how everything is working and work out any kinks. Please make sure to set up notifications so you can be notified when I go live! 😊

I'm just now creating the page, as my capture card is in, thanks to Hawk Eye Gaming. Over the next few days, I'll be setting that up and getting OBS set up and once everything is in order, I'll be running a test stream. I plan to stream concurrently to both Facebook and Twitch for a while.
