Surviving School Own Clothes Day: is the Ninth in a series of ‘Surviving School’ Journals – ‘Own Clothes Days’ have become regular fund-raising events in many schools, Some pupils, teachers, parents and carers love them – some don’t.
Whatever your position in the debate this Journal can be used to express your feelings, ideas, thoughts and plans. Or anything else really, either way, emphasising the ‘Positive Steps’ identified and used.
Of course – you might just like the colour picture on the cover, with the Elfin like character in, Elfin like clothes (there’s a small black & white version of it on all the facing pages), and you can use the Journal for whatever you want.
Surviving School Wednesdays: was the first of the ‘Surviving School’ collection, and was Inspired by Wednesday Addams - most school pupils and staff know that, ‘Wednesday Feeling,’ it’s either the middle of the week (half way to the weekend) or it’s a person, in which case, ‘Surviving School Wednesdays’ has a totally different meaning. The collection consists of 10 different covers with different characters, each one reflecting the personality, or interests of the owner or maybe, you’re just drawn to the image on the front, which could mean of course, you didn’t choose the journal, but the journal chose you.
Inside each, are 100 pages with lots of space to write and doodle about the positive steps you take on a daily basis to navigate the path through school.
The sub-title on the front is ‘My Positive Steps Journal’ – finding those steps and using the journal to record and make use of them, is how to ‘Survive School Own Clothes Day’.
