As we count down the days to our departure, my mind is filled with excitement and anticipation, and let's be honest--intermittent waves of anxiety😅 I have my two decades of training in corporate to thank for that, conditioned to live by the planning mindset. Always have a plan. Always have the end goal in sight. Always know where you're headed before you even begin. Those in management consulting know the drill.
But everything we have done for the past 10 months has thrown that manual out the window, and our decision to move to another country on a whim is the capstone moment, at least for now. Living and thinking this way takes some getting used to.

Purchased a couple of coach tickets and noticed Amtrak had some extra sleepers available. So ole' Lucky Jimmy placed $80 on an online auction and wouldn't you know it, came out on top🎲🎲🙌
We've been cooped up in the city for a while and needed some air and a little change of scenery. What better way than to watch the scenery go by while drinking some wine on a train?😍🍷 No plans or itinerary for when we get there. Just gonna wing it and see what happens😉 Picked up a Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon to keep us company. A nice juicy red to hold us over for the long ride🍷🤩
