Definition
-Teaching is a noun describing the work of a teacher.
Teacher is someone who is gifted and has the ability to teach.
TEACHING IS COMMANDED IN THE GREAT COMMISSION.
- Jesus commanded that those who believe should be taught... Matt 28:20.
- Christian teachers are to teach what the Christ has commanded..
- Those who teaches what God has not commanded are false teachers.
- We are admonished to refrain from false teachers or teachings... 1 Timothy 6:3-5
THOSE WHO ARE SUPPOSE TO TEACH.
- Those who are in the office in of teacher... Eph 4:11.
- Those with motivational gift of teaching.. Roman 12:7
-Deacons/ Elders must be able to teach.. 1 Timothy 3:1-4.
- Matured Christians should be able to teach... Heb 5:12-14
- Older Women are to teach the young ones... Titus 2:3-5.
- Parents are to teach their children..Prov 4:1-7, Eph 6:4
