The story of the edit is based on the song fragile by ecco2k and its lyrics, associations and story compared with the characters and
cinematics of the movie fallen angels (1995).
In the song Fragile, Ecco2k compares his body as well as his addiction to his fragility.
Story:
To start off the edit the killers agent (the woman) is in a train where she quickly falls asleep after laying down on the seat.
At the outset she was a completely normal person that fell in love with wong who is a serial killer.
In her sleep on the train she dreams of herself being wongs (the killers) assistant. She helps to organize his appointments, eliminate his
tracks and scout out victims and crime scenes.
She didnt want to become such a bad person that has to deal with that much pressure.
Thus she cant stand it anymore but still wants wong (the serial killer) to fall in love with her.
However Wong met his former love and has intended to give up his job for some time.
Wongs jealous partner does everything to change his mind though.
The edit shows the fragility of the killers assistant (woman) compared with ecco2ks lyrics.
Ecco2ks lyrics as an association to the edit/killers assistant (the woman who strangely doesnt even have a name in the movie) :
"wash my face in acid":
Acid is usually something that we would consider as being abrasive and harsh towards the skin, and although Ecco uses this in stark
contrast to the theme of fragility.
"I'm glassy, shattered, wrapped in bubble plastic":
the bubble effects and fade outs show the softness that the killers agent
should be handled with
"Matches and kerosene, please handle me carefully":
With this lyric Ecco2k compares himself to the combination of matches and kerosene due to its need to be handled with caution as
matches start fire and kerosene is a fuel that is highly flammable. This can be refered to the killers assistant as well.
