The elegant spa town of Bagnoles-de-l’Orne became particularly popular in the late 19th century, a period in French history known as the Belle Époque. Some grand period buildings still occupy prime positions, including the casino, which has pride of place beside the water, and the palatial Résidence du Lac, standing out in patterned brick.
A visit to the Loire Valley would not be complete without visiting Le Château de Chenonceau. The Château de Chenonceau is a French château spanning the river Cher, near the small village of Chenonceaux, Indre-et-Loire, Centre-Val de Loire. It is one of the best-known châteaux of the Loire Valley.

If you are a wine lover, you must have tasted the Loire Valley wines. That’s exactly what we did a couple of months ago. Le Chateau de Saumur is in the French town of Saumur, in the Maine-et-Loire department.
It was originally constructed in the 10th century by Theobald I.
The historic town is found between the Loire and Thouet rivers, and is surrounded by the vineyards of Saumur itself, Chinon, Bourgueil, Coteaus du Layon, etc. which produce some of France's finest wines.
