"Salvation does not come about by consuming chandanam or sandalwood paste or applying sacred ash or vibhooti. Noise (resulting from quarrels) destroys peace and wealth. Situations of conflict invite the presence of the Divine Mother in Her form as the Goddess Kali. Situations of peace and contentment invite the presence of the Divine Mother in Her form as the Goddess Lakshmi! Dharma needs to be saved! Conflict destroys. Peace regenerates. You cannot visit a temple and be pious for a short period and then return home to quarrel and fight! Always give respect to the prince, the pauper and children! Respect all! Do we not shy away from people who do not give us respect?"

If the temple is below an arasa maram (banyan tree) the blessing is even more sacred. If you pray in any place where you are most comfortable, then that place is good for you. Start from today and you will find that you do not need any more drugs and medicines in your life. All sorrows will be cleared by the strength of those prayers. You will have ayur balam (healthy and long life), good health and peace of mind."

"It is necessary to pray loudly. In the earlier yugas it was enough to offer mental prayer, but in the Kali Yuga you need to pray loudly. Only when you pray loudly do you get control. When you are silent or when you close your eyes and sit, the mind will start wandering... When you pray loudly, you not only get the power of the prayer but you always help others get similar benefits. If you pray silently, only you will get the power. That is the meaning of the sacred mantra 'Om Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu'."
