Two-prong outlets aren’t automatically dangerous ⚡
The REAL problem? Loose connections and worn-out receptacles.
Loose wires create heat… and heat starts fires 🔥👀

Sharing neutrals is allowed but it needs to be done safely.

Do you guys like the way the new 2026 NEC is restructured?

POV: Replacing two old Zinsco panels with one clean 200A Leviton setup ⚡️

Major upgrade for safety and reliability. Consolidated everything into a single 200A panel, installed a proper grounding electrode system, and tied in a solid water bond.

Those ground rods? Driven straight out from the foundation and below grade (~30”) to stay protected and effective.

✅ Ground Rod Electrodes — NEC 250.52(A)(5)
(Defines rod/pipe electrodes as grounding electrodes)

✅ Installation of Rods — NEC 250.53(G)
(Rods must be installed so at least 8 ft is in contact with soil)

✅ Burial / Protection of GEC — NEC 250.64(B)
(Conductor must be protected where subject to damage, including emerging from grade)

✅ Grounding Electrode Conductor to Rod — NEC 250.66(A)
(Sizing requirements for rod electrodes)

✅ Metal Water Pipe Bonding — NEC 250.104(A)
(Bonding interior metal water piping systems)

✅ Grounding Electrode System (incl. water pipe) — NEC 250.50

Cleaner, safer, and built to today’s standards 👊

POV: Swapping out a 100A Wadsworth panel in an old basement ⚡️

Tight space, aging gear, and plenty of history in those walls. Upgraded to a safer, more reliable setup while keeping everything clean and code-compliant. One of those jobs where modernization makes a huge difference.

✅ Panel Replacement / Service Equipment — NEC 230.70 & 230.79
✅ Overcurrent Protection — NEC 240.4
✅ Grounding & Bonding — NEC 250.24
✅ Working Clearance — NEC 110.26

Out with the old, in with the safe 👊

POV: You walk into the job ready to rough in… and the entire lower ceiling has been raised 12” 😅

Not a tough fix, but definitely one of those “well, that’s new” moments. Time to adjust, reroute, and keep it moving. Adaptability is half the trade.

Powering up this new build with a clean, code-compliant 200A service ⚡️

Installed a 200-amp service with exterior disconnect and an intersystem bonding bridge to ensure proper grounding and safe integration of communication systems. Built to meet today’s demands and tomorrow’s upgrades.

✅ 200A Service Equipment — NEC 230.79(C)
✅ Service Disconnect — NEC 230.70(A)(1)
✅ Grounding & Bonding — NEC 250.24(A)
✅ Intersystem Bonding Bridge — NEC 250.94

Ready for inspection and built to last.
