Kudos to H.E President Ruto for the magnanimous transfer of Amboseli game reserve to the people of Kajiado County & the gift for a sub-county to the ilchamus Maa of Baringo County...it was indeed a very rewarding & eventful week for Maa.

Consistent to the above, the people of Narok county would wish H.E. RUTO's consideration to support in the transfer of the approx.120,000 acres of the Maasai Mau forest-MMF to the Maa community who resides around the forest.
The said transfer of Maasai Mau forest-MMF to the community could be done in consistent to Community land act, 2016, of the laws of Kenya and recommendations of the former Prime minister Raila odinga's task force to Government on Maasai Mau forest-MMF vide schedule 1.6.3 (f) of the report/recommendations

The Maa around the MMF will benefit in tourism, carbon/climate finance, and water user charge...as they also conserve the forest through a structured conservancy as MAASAI MAU FOREST COMMUNITY CONSERVANCY-MMFCC
