It’s been a while since I drew anything, I figured since I wanna come back to being active on the internet again it’s time to adopt another critter 😤
This time though I’m keeping my old mascots around though, so expect to see more art of the three of them!
I do not believe I ever named the older two, if I did and someone remembers do please tell me, or if you wanna give suggestions that’s cool too!

The cucumbers are producing really nicely! I have some caterpillars decimating some of the fruit though so I’m going to need to figure out how to deal with that.
This year gardening wise definitely will be so much better than last year was, we’re only going up from here!

So I recently got a bread maker (I wanna start making fresh bread and stuff but don’t always have the time to be in the kitchen making the bread hence my new lil friend here)
The first recipe I made was this chocolate marble bread, which turned out okay at best, it’s edible BUT the recipe I followed didn’t work as well in my machine as it did theirs so I’m gonna have to modify it. I’m thinking of doubling the recipe (my maker can handle that size wise) as when I made this one it was pretty burnt.
The second thing I made was these cinnamon rolls, which turned out pretty good tbh, I feel like they were also a little over cooked though so I’m gonna need to figure that out aswell

Picked some wild plants from around the house and paired them with some yellow zinnias for a cute lil arrangement
I might be a little off on some of these varieties but the yellow ones are my zinnias, the white with yellow are fleabane and the greens are garden cress.

I think that’s all the emojis available for what I’m growing? lol, I have some hot pepper seeds I’m waiting on for this years army, once they start sprouting I’ll do another pepper post.
My lil peach is getting so big 🥺 I’m so proud of it!
The tomato’s are starting to form fruit, I was hesitant about letting them fruit while in the grow bags but it’s gonna be a while before I can get them in the ground so I figured why not let them do their thing, we’ll see how that goes, and I’ll take pictures of the lil tomats as they start getting bigger.
My chaos garden is looking a little bare, I’m probably gonna sprinkle some more seeds in when I can get some grass clippings to put on top to protect them, I’m also debating on just harvesting everything in the bed so I can put down w**d block (it’s bad rn send help)
And lastly I made two new garden beds over the weekend! One for cucumbers the other for loofahs! Hopefully they do well

My favorite thing about getting into gardening is getting to try plants I’ve never tried before, and not feeling bad about if I mess up cooking it or just don’t like it
I’ve never had a radish or turnip before but I have a bunch growing, so I get to experiment cooking them to see if I find a way I like them! I’m also growing peas and green beans as I’ve never been too fond of them but I’ve only had them either canned or in a microwaveable meal so I get to experiment and see if I like them prepared differently!

What’s not pictured is where I planted some seeds a squirrel decided to make its nut stashing place (only found that out cause it didn’t do a great job…)
We’ll see in a few weeks if the squirrel won or if the seeds stayed somewhat organized

I finished a section of the garden I’ve been working on this week, debating wether I should post those pictures tomorrow or wait for some things to sprout so it’s not so bare
I’m proud of how well it’s all coming together, I can’t wait till I have something to show for my work ☺️

Tomato 🍅 post 2/2 (I couldn’t fit all the pictures into one lol)
The second set is mostly the tomato’s I started on October 22 (aside from the first cherry tomato) these plants have been through so much in their short lil lives, they got infested by aphids, then got burnt, then got attacked by green 5 (not sure if hornworms as they were tiny) and the one with tape on him? He got bent cause of a big gust of wind 😭
But these ones are lil troopers and I’m so excited to try all the different tomatoes I’m getting this year!
Living in Florida definitely helps make sure I don’t kill my plants when winter comes, I do still bring them inside but they still are getting plenty of sun (and I bring them back outside for a few hours when weather permits)

Tomato 🍅 post 1/2 (I couldn’t fit all the pictures into one lol)
The first set of pictures are all tomato’s I started November 17th (that’s when I started the peppers from the other days post aswell)

First plant update of the year: Peppers 🌶️ 🫑
This is my second year with peppers and I’m looking for recommendations on what seeds to get for this year and where people recommend getting them!
Currently what I have growing are:
Anaheim, sweet Hungarian wax, Serrano and KS pumkin habanero (curious about this one as I can’t find many places selling them)
Seeds I still have to plant: orange habanero, jalapeño, cayenne, red bell

Working on drafting the first pattern I’ll sell ever, any guesses what it may be 🤔
If anyone wants to test the pattern when I’m finished drafting it lmk, I’m a small account so obviously account size doesn’t matter, as it’s the first non simplistic one I’m writing I wanna make sure it’s perfect before releasing so I’ll probably make it a few times just to make sure I write everything down right!

My 2023 recap 🎉👏
This year was a rollercoaster coaster, mostly in my personal life but also with my hobbies, between giving up digital art, moving back home with my mom, trying to find who I am, all the ups and downs this year had in store for me really was a lot more than I bargained for, but I’m going into 2024 with a plan this time to hopefully get everything back on track again
My goals for the upcoming year are to finally open an Etsy shop, open a shop on Ribblr, start doing some YouTube tutorials for crochet, maybe also delve into some of my other hobbies, focus on my mental health and get physically active again, and hopefully by this time next year have more accomplishments to show off, until then happy new year 🎉

Hey everyone, long time no see
I’m working on a simple bird/chick pattern!
This will be a free one as I know there’s a lot of patterns that are similar to this one but I wanted to start with a simple one or two just to get a hang of it
I’ll release this pattern at the start of next year! Hopefully gonna try and make a few other patterns to go with it but the new year is only a week away so I don’t know if that’s likely lol

As he got his birthday present over the weekend I can show off this lil cutie I made for my lil goob 😌
Im gonna try and post more this month (I know, I say that every month) but I really do want to open up a lil shop this upcoming year, and thus I’d like to get more followers so I can have people to bounce ideas off of and get feedback for what all people would actually like to see, I might do a lil giveaway if we can hit 200 followers by the end of the year, I know that’s a long shot but if we can hit 100 I’ll make a separate post explaining all that

One of my peppers is almost ripe! Wish a bit more would ripen up soon as I wanna make some hot sauce with them
I made some stuffed croissant dough pizza buns yesterday, they looked kinda cute in my opinion
I think I’m gonna start a lil crochet project tonight so you’ll probably see some behind the scenes for that! I’ll give you a lil hint for anyone who wants to guess in the comments: 💐 🌸 🌹

I’m once again trying to make an attempt at posting more often lol
I haven’t been crocheting much lately, idk what to make tbh so if anyone has any suggestions maybe I’ll make one of them, I’ve ordered a few more seeds to start growing some more different kinds of peppers, maybe I’ll crochet some peppers to take pics of next to the actual ones 🤔
The art block is baddddd, but I’m gonna attempt to have at least one artsy post a week, I might also post more about food soon too, especially this month

I haven’t crocheted anything since the beginning of the month but I’ve been doing a bit of gardening!
First pic is a marigold sapling surrounded by a bunch of Roma tomatos
Second pic is the marigold sapling that grew from a seed I found in my tomato packet
Then we got a pic of a zinnia we have growing and the coleus that have been growing
And finally my cayennes I planted a few months ago, ones a picture from earlier this month the second one is a picture from about a week ago… will they ripen soon? Who knows lol

Was planning on doing one spooky season themed crochet project but todays the 2nd 😔
For today we have a mini candy corn, Imma still attempt to make 31 things just might not post every single day, planning on making some pumpkins, bats, maybe some spiders 🤔 any suggestions for spooky month?

Lil break for crocheting posts just to update on some of the plants
My peppers got so big! I see lil flower buds starting to form
My zinnias look… chaotic 🤣 this is the first time any of my zinnias have made it past lil sprout phase as normally they’re way too leggy
The lil ones are coleus’s, I wanted to wait till they started showing color before transplanting but so far it kinda appears they’re all the same color 🤔 I’ll probably transplant some of them today

Tonight’s project: a pair of isopods
If you told me when I started thinking about learning how to crochet a month or two ago that I would be able to grasp basic concepts in just a few days I wouldn’t have believed you… I hesitated for a while cause I was worried I wouldn’t grasp it or that I would just get frustrated trying to learn it and give up, but here I am a week later making some simple plushies
I think later in this week I’m gonna try my hand at a more complex pattern just to see how I fare, I already have a few in mind that I think would be interesting seeing how I do.

I made this lil guy yesterday, I don’t think I’ll continue to count the days of me learning how to crochet as I think I’ve at least learned the basics, it’s more so practicing it I have to do now.
With the set I got I received a lot of cheaper quality yarn so I’m gonna try and go through that before I start using the nice stuff, even though I really wanna start working with it now and make nice soft plushies 😅
