Little plant update as I am slowly getting back into gardening in what little free time I get, the first three pictures were before the hurricane the rest is now, 2+ months later
Aside from the initial loss of all my outdoor plants my garden looks so sad, we’ve been slowly dealing with the house so I haven’t really had much time to garden, thus the handful of plants I had still died. (These ones were my fault, I left them outside in the rain, didn’t properly acclimate them as I had to get them out of the house asap for dry out and I over fertilized some)
I’m down to maybe 3 pepper plants?(some I think died, I’m not 100% sure yet though) 2 snapdragons, a mint and a bunch of saffron and basil, I started some brocoli, lettuce carrots and some herbs last week.the saffron I wasn’t planning on starting yet but they sprouted in the bag (hence why they’re in nursery pots and not in nice ones or in the ground)
I’m debating on starting some tomatoes and cucumbers, I know it’s getting close to winter so I don’t have super high hopes for those, I live in Florida so when we do get frost it’s only for a few days at most normally but with my luck lately it’ll still be an issue. I do have some pepper seeds coming eventually though so I might start those when I can get a lil warm area set back up
