PILGRIMAGE TO THE LANDS OF MARY MAGDALENE AND THE CATHARS

For hundreds of years southern France (known as Occitania) and parts of northern Spain were an important spiritual hub for the convergence of many peoples and traditions. Pilgrims, students and teachers gathered there to share wisdom. The Pyrenees mountains of Occitania hold memories of the wisdom and practices of long ago.

In this time of planetary transformation, we invite you to join us in pilgrimage to the lands of Mary Magdalene and the Cathars. Travel though Southern France and Northern Spain to learn from the land, from those who have lived and walked there, and from the artifacts left behind. Many have found these experiences activate a harmony of the divine masculine and divine feminine truth within.

Our time together will focus on inspiration, insight and restoration. Connect to the ancient wisdom of these lands through embodied presence and ritual. Experience the breathtaking beauty and humbling specter of nature as we connect to its essence of continual growth and blossoming of spirit through matter. Learn about the significance of these lands in the history of spiritual evolution. Explore the deeper meaning of the divine feminine in the lands where Mary Magdalene teacher, healer, mystic, living archetype of the divine feminine, apostle of apostles, and beloved companion to Jesus spent her latter days.

During this 9-day journey we will be based in two different places (first near Quillan, France and then near Monsterrat, Spain) and will visit many power spots in nature, ancient Cathar temples, the Montserrat Black Madonna, and other places of historical significance. You will be introduced to the splendor of Rennes Le Château, Montsegur, Apu Bugarach, Alet le Bains (near Quillan), the Isis seat at Rennes Les Bains, among other places.

Join Jeff Firewalker, PhD and Cynthia Bergh, DC as they officiate their second Pilgrimage to this remarkable place. Some sites require a moderate hike to reach. Please inquire via PM with Jeff if you have questions.

Thanks for your support and interest in Saint Disruption’s fourth album, Ayamachula. We were joined by master percussionist River Guerguerian (sharethedrum.com) for a day of recording that was as much meditation and ceremony as it was musical improvisation. We did two back-to-back 55-minute improvisations, the first resulting in our recently released album ‘Innanna Rising’ and the second, ‘Ayamachula.’ Check it out on all major streaming platforms.

We are about to release our podcast with the lovely and talented Natalia Clavier and her project with Andrei Matorin, VOXMANA!

Together, as VOXMANA, they produce what they like to call “Intentional Dance Music” or IDM, electronic dance music that creates a context for healing. Fusing their multi-cultural backgrounds Clavier and Matorin mix everything from electronic, world music, jazz and blues to Argentine folklore and Brazilian MPB in a unique cocktail, brewing sonic medicine for all types of audiences.
