It's been a while since I have done an update on Instagram or Facebook for the but the fact is that life got in the way, but in order to grow the anti-bullying equestrian community is to use all the social media platforms.

For those who have recently received an invitation & wondering what it’s all about let me explain.

It started on TikTok (I know right). I started it in November 2020, firstly on my art TT page & then a new account of its own.

The reason I started it was because there were ‘online trainers’ who were bullying other equestrians & I had had enough.

The PHT is a supportive worldwide equestrian community for all horse lovers, regardless of level or discipline, to be role models for other equestrians or those thinking of joining in on this amazing sport.

The bullying was a range from how someone rode, their horse, what they wore etc & was based off a very short video clip.

I started getting tagged in different posts & I would make a comment to shoot the online trainers down, along with others who are part of the community.

We are a worldwide community of all ages, races, genders & from all disciplines, supporting those who don’t feel support either off line or online.

So we are growing with 4k plus on TT, but not everyone uses it (I don’t blame you, it can be brutal), so the aim of the PHT is to make it a safe equestrian community supporting each other, because after all, we all love our horses, so rather than pulling people down, we want to support you.

I’d love it if we can continue to grow across all social platforms & I need your help to put the word out, so we can continue to be a worldwide supportive community to help each other & be a strong network, drowning out the online trainers & bullies.

It’s been an age since posting on anything other than TikTok, which is where the was started in November 2021.
The reason I started with it was because I was so fed up with seeing so many nasty comments on riders videos, negative, nothing nice to say.
Online trainers can be very damaging to others, especially when, for instance, the rider isn’t in a great place & gets judged on a 10 second video where the ‘pack’ of online trainers flock to the comment section & tell the rider exactly what they have done wrong.

I wasn’t brought up around horses but I had ridden a few times, so when I was able to, 10 years ago, I learnt to ride, I also learnt about stable management & how to look after a horse. I then bought my first horse, had him for 2 1/2 years but we weren’t compatible, but now I have found my heart horse.
I consider myself privileged that I have a horse & that he lets me ride him.
We all love our horses, wether it’s your favourite one at the riding school you go to, the one you’ve loaned, the one you’ve shared with, the one you own…… so that is our passion. So what makes people decide that they are suddenly Mary King or Piggy French & critique other people’s riding & being nasty with it too, judging a teeny clip on a video?

My thoughts are that they are a) insecure about their own riding so they deflect any critique of their riding & judge others themselves or b) they don’t have their own horses & are jealous because that’s who they want to be (a good rider in a video).

It’s not always about the riding either. The amount of online trainers who take the p**s out of what people are wearing is despicable. So what if someone isn’t wearing the latest designs/colours or the wrong boots or whatever- it’s not a competition AND having all the gear does not make you a better rider.

I know that there are a lot of people who are sick of the equine community & the negativity that goes on.
Those who sit behind a keyboard & write negative comments wouldn’t say it if they were face to face with you, so why do it behind a keyboard?

We should be supporting one another & if someone has done better than you- so what! Maybe they’ve worked harder to get there, maybe they’ve ridden more than you have or maybe you’ve just had an unlucky day, so instead of leaving rude remarks, why not just say ‘We’ll done’ & support them and BE HAPPY FOR THEM!

Do what you do but don’t bring others down because of your shortfalls.

There’s quite a few videos on TikTok from the positivehorsetribe so so feel free to come over there, but I will be starting to post more on the other socials (FB & Insta), so either way it would be great to see you & join our community which is worldwide.

Sometimes you just need to ‘be’. In the moment- not thinking about yesterday or today- but just ‘be’. It’s a great way to relax & gather yourself.

As equestrians we should all respect each other regardless of what level we are at or which discipline we do.

Online training is *not* a qualification to put on your CV- so be kind and be supportive of each other.

Our passion is horses- so help people up don’t bring them down.

Welcome to the - a page to spread support and positivity worldwide.

It started on TikTok, and since starting the hashtag which has since hit over 5.3 million likes!

I've now migrated to Instagram and Facebook - as I want to continue spreading support and positivity to others.

To be part of the Positive Horse Tribe, all you have to do is:

1. Always be supportive to other equestrians on social media

2. Post supportive comments

3. If no advice is asked then don't be an online trainer

4. Dont start comments with 'No hate but....' or 'not being funny but......'

5. You can also show you're part of the PHT by putting it in your bio like others have done.

6. Add the hashtag in your posts 💚

Welcome and lets stop online bullying, trolls and bullying IRL in the equestrian world.
