In the midst of AI entering the filmmaking process, last night I got to be part of making an action sequence with my friends. It was chaotic and messy but so much fun. I was exhausted afterwards and slept like a baby. Then my dear friend Massey called me and we spoke about AI and good old filmmaking. Then I was text a BTS video of me directing and seeing the process through someone else eyes. I teared up. Because I got to relive the intense chaos, the call to action, my cast and crew smiling through the insane process of filmmaking. I will never stop making films in the field. It has always been about rally up the brave few and leading them into the creative unknown. Then tell the story to others what it took to make you feel for our intangible stories with our tangible experiences. I know it’s crazy to stick to this process in the midst of AI making it easier and cheaper for us but I’ll be that crazy person for you. I shall return with an inspire tell of epicness, for us.

Uniform. In the Marine Corps we had Battalions, Companies, Platoons. My transition to becoming a storyteller has given me the honor of being part of what we call a Crew in the film industry. Sometimes you are gifted with something that would remind us of the project we were on. I believe in a United front, we are stronger. And I know the power a uniform has on one. It isn’t the fabric but it’s meaning that inspires us, and cloths us with affirmation that we will make it, together. Before Shot one goes off we will be cloaked in that affirmation.

A whisper of cinema. As I lead us into resets chasing that perfect moment when our lord’s light fades away into darkness, we achieved this cinematic moment. Ninjas you created this. You were patient and United. Each of you an extension to my madness my desires for epicness. To my dearest friend Dustin for always following me into the nothingness and coming back with something more grand than I could have imagine alone, Thank you! Legacy isn’t built on the backs of men but on the faith in each others conviction for epicness. Lord know I will always chase the light, even in the darkest of places.
