Avid S6 on a motorized stand- I started working on a sit stand desk and found it to be a huge boost to my productivity, so it only made sense to mount the S6 on one!
Can stand and mix to have fun and get things cooking, then sit down for the precision work!

And two more mix rooms here at Studio Central! Yes- these are photos of two separate rooms. The walls behind the camera have full-wall acoustic treatment but the brick is left exposed on one side to add some liveliness.
These rooms have 7.1.4 near field ATMOS rigs- external ATMOS renderer, avid s3, and the dual slate touchscreens.

Wow. What a whirlwind. Almost two years since I filled out my application to become a voting member I finally made it to the Grammys!
The only reason this is even remotely possible is the extreme generosity of my mentors: Kevin Killen, Brett and Todd Hobin, and Tony Vadala who have supported me for YEARS as I’ve learned what a mix engineer does, what a mix engineer actually does, what it means to “engineer” art, and what to do when the music industry gets the best of me.
I’m so so grateful, and humbled to be here- being in a room of not only all your idols, but the biggest names in the industry really puts things in perspective.
And of course, for endless support, knowing how to talk to anyone and bring positivity to EVERY situation, including when the Grammys humbles you.

L-Acoustics install, part 1: Subwoofers! It was a tight squeeze but these L'A KS21i subs juuust fit through the man doors underneath the stage of Eastern Hills Bible Church. They're all in position and ready to be cabled. Shout out to Neil Minet for overseeing all the details of this project...give him a ¼" of margin and he'll work with it! Important to note, it's not a problem for them to be off center, as was necessary here. As long as the subs are within one quarter wavelength of each other DSP can be used to steer the sound back to center by using timing delays between subs along with other tricks.
