On this week's episode Tay talks about the harrowing abduction of Carolynne Watson. After being abducted when out on a picnic in the woods with her boyfriend Julian Buchwald, she and him spend the next six days naked, terrified, and lost in the woods trying not to be found by their abductor. However when they are rescued police find who was the culprit and it is not at all who they expected. Her murder being one that most likely would have been solved had she not been living in a town full of corruption and secrets was one that created lasting legend and legacy. She was sent to prison for a short period of time where she was released within months and within weeks of being paroled she violated her probation by continuing to have a "relationship" with Vili. This relationship never ended and when she completed her sentence when he was an adult the pair married. On this week's episode Tay tells us about the tragic murder of Alexis Sharkey by her husband Tom Sharkey. Just after Thanksgiving in 2020, Alexis, a successful saleswoman for MONAT products goes silent on all of her social media and wasn't responding to any of her friends. Her husband Tom was to everyone around her nearly unconcerned. After months of her telling her friends that her relationship was rocky and at times downright abusive, Alexis went missing and her husband was not reporting it to the police. Tragically the day after she was last seen her body was discovered on the side of the road near her Hustin home. Although it was clear to officers that her husband was responsible nearly 10 months after her death as police came to arrest him, he would make it so he could never pay for his crimes. Judith (Judy) Malinowski was being brought to rehab by her abusive ex boyfriend, Mike Slager, when he stopped and, after aruging, poured gasoline down Judy's body and lit her aflame. The following two years before Judy's death had multiple trials for Mike and surgeries for Judy, all while her family fought for laws in Ohio to be changed. The two had entered and agreement when they married that if he ever cheated he would have to kill his mistress, and to facilitate this murder he lied to his wife saying that he had been having an affair with Daniella to kill her to punish her for not reciprocating his advances. This week Tori tells us about the case of Margaret Ellen Fox, a 14 year old girl who went missing from Burlington City, New Jersey in June of 1974. The Fox family got a ransom call from an unknown man, who demanded $10,000 for the return of their daughter. The man who called the family has never been identified, and Margaret has never been returned to her family. This case deals with child abduction, please listen with care. On this week's episode Tay tells us about the recent and extremely tragic murder of instagram model and fashion icon Abby Choi. As Abby's dreams were finally starting to come true her ex in-laws were plotting against her. After years of financially supporting them she had decided to rehouse them and sell the multi-million dollar apartment she had bought for them years prior and unbenounced to her the Kwong family would be willing to do the unthinkable to get back at her for this. The Kwong family tricked, murdered, and dismembered Abby in late February of 2023 and not all of her body has been able to be recovered since. After over a dozen of piano lessons Charles Yukl just decided one day to kill and mutilate the body of his student Suzanne Reynolds. After this he was only sentenced for a lessor charge due to not being read his Miranda Rights properly and allowed him to be out again to then kill actress Karin Schlegel.
