According to data from Voxnest, as referenced by insideradio.com, while podcast listens in the U.S. were down 20% last month, there was an increase in listens with the biggest in the following categories: Design, Food, Music Interviews, Medicine, and Music History. In the U.S., there is a strong correlation to podcast listening and behaviors such as commuting. As listeners further adjust to this 'new normal', listens could increase. Globally in March, podcast listening levels were up 42%.
