Hagia Sophia is an absolute must when you visit Istanbul, Türkiey! I was like a kid in a candy shop in this beautiful place with my camera!

Here is a little history on Higia Sophia:

“The Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya in Turkish) was originally built as a basilica for the Greek Orthodox Christian Church. However, its function has changed several times in the centuries since.
Byzantine Emperor Constantius commissioned construction of the first Hagia Sophia in 360 A.D. At the time of the first church’s construction, Istanbul was known as Constantinople, taking its name from Constantius’ father, Constantine I, the first ruler of the Byzantine Empire.” - History.com

Country #3, Nicaragua 🇳🇮

Went on a walking tour and learned a whole lot about Granada and Nicaragua. I love learning about a country and its culture and showing you guys what I see through my lens 🥰

🌋 Nicaragua has 23 volcanoes, 19 of which are active. This one was pretty spooky as we were able to look down into the crater + see hot, ‘basaltic’ lava.

🔥 When the spanish conquistadors came across the Masaya Volcano they believed they had stumbled upon the gates of hell! At this time there was an active lava lake, + apparently they attempted to extract the volcanos molten gold.

✝️ The spanish baptized this volcano naming it “La Boca del Infierno” (The Mouth of Hell) planting a cross to exorcise the devil.

Granada is a beautiful city dating back 500 years old. that’s 1/2 a millennial!

⛪️ Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Las Mercedes Granada has a beautiful bell tower you can climb up and stand! You do have to pay some $$ so make sure you have about 60 Còrdoba (1.60 USD) on you

🤗Yes, we agree San Jose is not the be-all and end-all of Costa Rica, which has incredible small towns, beaches, lush jungles, and adventure!

😱 When we first came to Costa Rica everyone told us to high tail it out of San Jose! but we decided to trust our guts and see if this was really the truth… And we found beauty, we found a beginning to what was really all about.

🌆 San Jose IS a city with a lot to offer those who visit it. You can live the life of a local and meet some of the most interesting/ talented people. They have lovely neighborhoods, markets, museums, parks + communities. There are hidden treasures all over the city just waiting to be discovered.

Coming back to Costa Rica after 6 months in Mexico has made a ton of memories flood back! 🇨🇷

This is where our journey started and I feel like we were such different people only a couple weeks after leaving home. 🇨🇦

We came back to check out Nosara (A highly talked about jungle beach town in the Guanacaste Province) and then head up north to Nicaragua. 🇳🇮

So excited to keep on roaming, learning, and seeing more beautiful parts of the world. 🌎

Balancing act ⚖️

Balance in life is ABSOLUTELY key to a healthy mindset and lifestyle.

8 months in and we feel like it’s still a work in progress finding that balance. Most of the times building KGDMLVNG/Working online takes all of our energy and by the end of the day we just want to go to bed.

During our workweek it is so important we take tech shabbats, a break and go outside and walk, run, or just sit and mediate 🧘

Burnout is real! Make sure you take time for yourself and slow down and just take it all in. 🥰

🇲🇽 Our final day in Mexico 🇲🇽

✨ We can’t believe it’s been 6 whole months that we have been travelling this amazing + beautiful country. (8 months total of travel)

❤️ Mexico changed us + our lives forever. Our minds, + hearts will forever be impacted by all the fantastic Mexicans, nomads, food, experiences, + landscapes.

Definitely sad, but it’s not goodbye forever! 🇲🇽 Mexico is so big and so diverse we still have quite a bit to see.

🏊‍♂️ 🏊‍♀️ What it includes: Tour of all four Cenotes which takes about 2 hours. After that you have until it closes at 6pm to spend the day there swimming and exploring the grounds.

If you had told me three years ago that I would be where I am today, I would have been super proud of Scott. If you had told me the same thing a year ago, I would not have believed you. Three years ago, I was in the hospital with not only a broken pelvis but a broken mindset. I expected this experience to set me on a new path and change my life right away, but my mindset limited me, and a year later I found myself in the same mindset with the same limiting beliefs.

Now I am at a point in my life where I am crushing my goals, and always a step closer to where I want to be. This is a reminder that the path isn't always a straight one, but it has the same destination. Just keep on moving!

KGDM LVNG is heading in a direction that I am very excited about and proud of! I recently received feedback from a YouTuber I met with nearly 200,000 subscribers, and it was extremely beneficial! My videos will begin to look different, and I hope to showcase my talent and personality more, as well as tell a story through my lens and words.

Isla Mujeres (Island of Women) ♥️

First time staying on a island for both of us and we absolutely loved it! The vibes here were chill, laidback, and super friendly to say the least. ✌🏼
