(3:3) Last post for Midnight Raven! Time to share some of my fav mock-ups for this brand 🐦‍⬛🌑

I do A LOT of packaging for my clients but I haven’t really spent a ton of time designing for myself, and I haven’t had the opportunity to work with a beverage brand (yet 🤞🏼). I love these ravens so much, they just had to be a focal point and I had so much fun making these packaging mock-ups!

So, let me know in the comments, are you buying this coffee?

Stay tuned — while this is the last post in this series, I’ve got some reels in the works and you know ya girl is going to do a Behance post as well 🤣😉

(2:3) More for Midnight Raven and I thought I’d talk about my main design choices!

If you saw the design demo of this brand’s primary logo, this will be familiar — but I started my typeface search with something very different in mind. I was leaning towards a super modern and sleek serif/script combo, but then I saw Bonyland and the game changed. The imperfect inky lines of the letterforms perfectly complement the hand drawn illustrations and the Blackletter style really lends itself to the brand name. I paired it with a blocky display font that has loads of character and a paragraph font that’s pure vintage.

For the color palette, I knew I wanted to use a rich brown (call me basic l), but also bring in some midnight tones with shades of teal and navy blue. It wouldn’t be a true Loblolly project without a pop of color, so a rich red-orange was perfect!

Here’s the deets:

🐦‍⬛ The primary typeface is Bonyland by and sourced via

🐦‍⬛ Secondary typeface is Royal Imperial by and sourced via

🐦‍⬛ Paragraph font is Broadsheet from and available via Adobe

(1:3) Y’all I finally finished Midnight Raven and am so excited to share it with you! I really enjoy working on coffee brands and the darker vibes of this project are perfect for Halloween week 🐦‍⬛🌑

Now, y’all know drawing is one of my favorite things to do and animals are some of my favorite subjects. So, while I normally try to shy away from literal interpretations of brands or brand names, I just had to draw some ravens.

I hand drew these in Procreate, sketching them first with a pencil brush and then inking them with a studio pen. I love doing this style, because the lines don’t have to be perfect. I use thin, short lines to shade the darker areas, paying particular attention to the direction of my lines to create shapes, such as feathers. I then use Illustrator’s image trace tool to vectorize them, and I’ve found I don’t have to do much cleanup because the style is so organic.

If you’re interested in seeing some snippets of my drawing process for these, check out my reel from last week 🐦‍⬛

More to come! Stay tuned 🫶

(3:3) Last post for Bound by Peaks and I thought I would share my favorite mock-ups from this project.

As flags play such an integral part of the brand identity design, it was only appropriate to create a flag mock-up as well! I really (REALLY) love the triangular design and pole of this one. I also had to include my favorite social mock-ups, because I missed them after not using them for my last project. I mean, they just look so good. Lastly, what sort of cold weather brand would be complete without some sort of warm gear? A beanie seemed like a good fit and the secondary stacked logo fit perfectly!

All of these mock-ups were sourced via my subscription, where I enjoy unlimited downloads of mock-ups, fonts, photos, videos, graphics, and more. Seriously, it’s my most valuable subscription aside from my Adobe Suite and is WELL worth the money for value. If you’d like to explore their extensive catalog and learn more about their licensing and such, comment ‘SUBSCRIPTION’ and I’ll send you a link to check it out.

Lastly, while this is my last post for this brand, I hope to post a demo of how I created the main badge logo and maybe a few other reels — because I’m just not done with this brand yet. So, stay tuned!

(2:3) More for Bound by Peaks! Let’s dive into some of the design choices, starting with the custom logotype. I selected a bold serif to customize, adding a peak to the ‘A’ and a curve to the ‘N’ symbolizing the winding, often unpredictable trails of mountaineering. The ‘by’ of the brand name was put into one of the flag containers. As Tibetan prayer flags symbolize peace, strength and unity, this was the perfect vehicle for binding the brand words together. I then selected a bold, flowing script font that provides loads of movement with its natural deep slant. And let me tell you — when I saw this font, I actually shelled out money for it. If you’ve been here awhile, you know I love my Envato subscription and rarely spend money on fonts. That said, this one is a total beaut and I just HAD to have it. A clean and slightly rounded sans serif rounds out the typography suite and helps offset the sharp letterforms of the primary typeface.

The color palette for this brand was probably the fastest part of the design process, and that is SUPER rare for me. I pulled a variety of greens, blues, reds and yellows that are traditionally seen in the flags. As I knew I wanted the illustrations to be multicolored, I picked colors that had a nice range of shades and tones that would work well across all the imagery.

Ok — here are all the deets:

✴️ The primary typeface is Vasque Regular by and sourced via

✴️ The script is Carajillo by and sourced via Creative Market

✴️ The sans serif is North Pole by and sourced via Creative Fabrica

(1:3) 🏔️ Really excited to share my brand identity design for Bound by Peaks, an adventure company offering unparalleled adventures and expert-guided climbs to the world’s most iconic peaks. The founders hold a special love and appreciation for Nepal and the Himalayas, so my design inspiration started there. I utilized flags inspired by traditional Tibetan prayer flags as a key design element of the logo suite and as containers for additional assets. I also crafted a series of mountaineering illustrations and a simple dot pattern reminiscent of falling snow that were used as stickers and within other branded collateral.

More to come for Bound by Peaks! My next post will delve into my typography and color palette selections.

(3:3) Final post for Le Pain Parfait and I’m wrapping it all up with a look at the packaging! Crafting the brand pattern was a bit of a labor of love, as it’s so complex and has so many elements. If you’d like to see how I put it together, check out my first reel for this brand. Nonetheless, the brand pattern was perfect for paper bread wraps and other packaging mockups.

Sorta sad to see this one go! I really fell in love with the rustic, cozy vibes. Let me know what you think in the comments!

(2:3) More for Le Pain Parfait! Let’s dive into some of my design choices 🤗

The color palette was crafted from an actual photo of Colmar, Alsace, depicting a row of half-timbered early Renaissance buildings that are painted bright colors. Think Belle’s village! I opted to stick with warm, earthy colors to symbolize fresh baked bread and the agriculture of the region in general. Honestly, I love building color palettes this way — especially for brands that have a special tie to the region they’re located in. I posted a reel a few months ago with a step-by-step of how to do this in Illustrator, so DM me if you’re interested in learning more and I’ll send you the link.

For the logotype, I selected Edgeriver as the primary typeface, as its bold vintage style is reminiscent of classic hand-painted shop window signs. The “A” was customized to include an added arch, symbolizing the top of a loaf of bread. I then landed on Northland as the secondary typeface — and I am FULLY obsessed! With loads of vintage charm and a variety of swashes and ligatures to add flair, Northland is the perfect accent to help evoke the rustic character of the brand. I then rounded out the typography suite with Metallophile Sp8, as its slightly rounded edges give a classic 1950’s aesthetic and compliment the vintage vibe of the primary and secondary typefaces.

I’ve got one more post in the works for this brand, so stay tuned. For now, here’s a few details on where I got my fonts & mockups:

- FONTS: Edgeriver & Northland are from — Metallophile Sp8 is from Adobe
- MOCKUPS: All of the mockups and paper textures from today’s post are from

(1:3) Presenting the brand identity for Le Pain Parfait, an artisanal bakery dedicated to crafting the finest bread, combining time-honored Provençal traditions with a passion for perfection.

Before hopping into typefaces and color, I started with the brand illustrations. The focal point of these is a bakery building inspired by the architecture of Colmar, Alsace — one of the dreamiest parts of France 🤩 The hand-drawn feel evokes an old world charm and utilizing a building communicates that the bakery is at the center of its community. I also created a series of bread illustrations and a rolling pin that were used for stickers and patterns 🥖🥐

Last post for The Keynote semi-custom brand kit! Time to delve into how this whole “semi-custom” thing works.

To start, if you see a brand kit that you feel vibes with your business, submit an inquiry form and fill it out as thoroughly as possible. I’ll then review and if I feel that your business is a good fit, I’ll send you an invoice and contract to lock it in. Once payment is received, we’ll setup a call to review your vision for your new brand and it will be marked as sold on my website and socials.

I then get to work customizing your new brand identity. All brand kits come with one round of revisions, so once we work through those, I’ll prep and package all your files and upload them to your secure client portal. Boom, you can then set the world on fire with your new brand identity!

For more FAQ on how these kits work, comment ‘BOUTIQUE’ and I’ll send you a link to The Brand Boutique where you can find the answers to common questions. You can also just shoot me a DM. I’m pretty good at those 😉

More for my new semi-custom brand kit, The Keynote! Let’s delve into what comes with this particular brand kit (pssst, it’s the biggest one I’ve done thus far):

⭐️ Primary logo
⭐️ 6 alternate logos (!!!)
⭐️ 1 logomark
⭐️ 2 badge logos
⭐️ 3 hand-drawn illustrations
⭐️ brand color palette
⭐️ typography suite*
⭐️ full brand style guide

Woah! That’s a ton of value, if I do say so myself. I’m a firm believer that all brands need multiple versions of their logo to adequately fit all potential applications. You can rest assured, The Keynote brand kit has them all covered.

To learn more about my semi-custom brand kits, browse the boutique and submit an inquiry, just comment ‘BOUTIQUE’ and I’ll shoot you a DM with the link.

One more post planned for The Keynote, so stay tuned! The last one in this series will cover how this whole “semi-custom” thing works and what exactly you can change within the brand kits. Don’t miss it!

* Please note, due to the nature of font licenses, you will be required to purchase the fonts separately in addition to the cost of the kit *

New brand kit alert! And I gotta say, I’m really loving this one 🗝️

Presenting The Keynote, a semi-custom brand kit perfect for boutique hotels, high-end rental properties or a personal brand that’s the epitome of vintage chic.

Now, let’s chat a bit about semi-custom brand kits and why they’re a great option for some small businesses:

✨ Save time: Most of the brand development has already been done and this often time consuming phase is skipped. With timely communication, your new brand kit can be ready in a week!

✨ Cost-Effective: Remember that whole bit about skipping the development phase...well, time is money honey and that is reflected in the cost of my kits 😉 AND...

✨ Complete Package: Despite the cheaper price tag, my semi-custom clients receive the same benefits as my full branding clients, including access to your own custom client portal and complete brand guidelines document for your new brand! But that’s not all...

✨ Uniquely Yours: Each kit is only sold once — ensuring your new brand identity is uniquely yours, exclusive, one-of-a-kind — you know, basically exactly what you want but faster and half the cost.

Excited yet? Cool. Comment BOUTIQUE and I’ll DM you a link to the Brand Boutique, and you can take a little browse through the shop. If you see a kit that looks perfect for your brand, submit an inquiry!

More to come for The Keynote, so stay tuned!

(3:3) Last post for Got Chew and in this one I’m showcasing some of the packaging mock-ups created for the brand.

In the world of gum, it’s not enough to just throw some bright colors and bubbly text on the design and hope it breaks through. The packaging for Got Chew screams at you to look at it 😎⚡️

All of the packaging mockups were sourced via my Envato Elements subscription. If you think you would also enjoy downloading unlimited fonts, photos, mockups, videos, graphics and more, there’s a link in my bio for you to check it out 😉

(2:3) I’m back with more for Got Chew, a bold and energetic sugar free chewing gum brand! Time to delve into some of my design choices...

The primary typeface is Flashy — so appropriately named. Flashy provides instant personality and flair to the brand logo, and the added lightning bolt at the center of the “O” captures the energetic vibe of the brand. I then selected Havoks as the secondary typeface, and while I was originally concerned that it was too similar in height and shape to Flashy, it added a touch of retro charm that helped ground the boldness of the logo and brand mascot with a clean, approachable feel.

The brand mascot for Got Chew was inspired by retro bubble gum characters but designed with a modern twist. With her cool beanie and cheeky smirk, she’s the perfect mashup of past and present. In addition to the brand mascot, I created two additional supporting illustrations and several shapes inspired by Tetris pieces that I eventually turned into a pattern. The shapes and illustrations really pop against the bright color palette.

Speaking of color...Can you call it a gum brand without pink? I don’t know and I didn’t try, but I did round out the color palette with a vibrant blue, green and yellow to really punch up the playful energy and keep the design fresh.

One more post for Got Chew to come! What are you thinking of this branding so far? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

More for Fine Line!

When selecting typefaces for this project, I knew I wanted a custom script for the logotype that had ALL the hand-drawn vibes because stationary. I added a bit of flair to the “f” and “e” to give the logotype some charm and paired it with a chunky sans serif with inky corners. I then selected Squid Boy as the body font to round out the typography suite and OMG it’s my new fav! I’m going to have to restrain myself from using it too much 😬

Lastly, color — I have to admit, and you’ll notice this if you scroll my feed a bit, I love, love to pair pink, green and orange. I wanted a fun and playful palette that felt magical but was also eye-catching. I also can’t resist a dark navy. Sorry, not sorry.

Ok, this might be one of my fav carousels — it just hits 🤌

What do you think of this brand so far? Let me know in the comments!

Y’all - it has been a HOT minute since I’ve participated in a brief challenge - but as a certified stationary addict, I couldn’t pass up the latest brief from 😅

The idea behind this brand came from our family Spring Break trip to Universal. My eldest is Harry Potter obsessed, so when she came across the opportunity to snail mail a postcard directly from Hogwarts, she just HAD to. We reluctantly shelled out the inflated “postage” but it was pure magic to her — even more so when the postcard arrived several weeks later. And that’s the beauty of stationary, isn’t it? It has the capacity to create these magical moments that truly cannot be replicated in any other form. Let’s be honest digital cards just don’t hit the same as those nice frilly Minted ones 😉

I had a BLAST working on this project and am grateful I had the time to complete it. Please bare with me while I spam post my carousels, because ya girl is running behind 😅
