Wild. I was just talking about this with the other day. It’s perfectly reasonable to ask ourselves how many more images coming out of Gaza do Americans need to see for them to wake the f**k up from their stupor, but tens of millions of them likely haven’t seen or heard anything about it at all and are completely insulated from what’s happening. I know… f**king HOW?? The onslaught of entertainment and distractions all around us, the grinding down of our psyches by overworking us, the complete failure on part of American media and blatant censorship from social media companies… that’s how.

SHOCKER: The majority of Americans truck owners are not actively using them in the trades or managing a farm or ranch. They’re just security blanket commuter vehicles for mostly men with fragile egos.

Skipping over the fact that proliferation of trucks has made U.S. roads vastly less safe over the years, 83% of truck owners drive them as their primary vehicle while 75% NEVER use their truck for towing and only 35% use their truck for hauling (putting s**t in the bed).

Here’s a super cool story of a man being unable to get car insurance because GM sold the driving history from his 2021 Cadillac to data brokers used by insurance companies. Capitalism is awesome.

It looks like this has become a PR disaster for GM and they’re stopping the practice (for now).

Anyone who thinks “dEfEaTiNg wOkEiSm” is more important than defeating these leech ass billionaires who suck the life out of workers is a de facto right winger by definition, including any liberal who agrees with anything on his list of made up non-issues.

• The only people hurt by what’s happening at the U.S.-Mexico border are the migrants themselves from inhumane and militarized U.S. policy.

• “Clean and safe cities” requires housing everyone with no strings attached and bolstering social programs, but Elon had never advocated for either of those things. And the term “cleaning up the cities” has a sorted history of usage by white supremacists. His use of it is not a coincidence.

• Governments are not businesses. They do not and cannot “go bankrupt”. Government spending when targeted correctly can be a boon for the economy. He should know. The tens of millions in tax dollars he got from the U.S. government is why he’s the richest man on earth today.

• Yeah, racism in all forms is wrong. But simply not being racist is not good enough. We must actively be anti-racist to counter the effects of entrenched white supremacy. DEI is far from perfect considering that it only has an effect in the corporate world, but it at least attempts to counter entrenched racism. Anyone who says it’s somehow racist against white people are dumb racists who don’t understand how it actually works.
