Restaurant Review:
Earlier this week I had the pleasure of reviewing Arandas Tacos on HWY 76. From somebody who has lived in Mexico this is a highly authentic Mexican restaurant! I ordered their 6 street tacos and absolutely loved them (the only exception was their cow tongue which was a different texture than I was used too) as well as their chips and salsa (they were pretty basic but also very affordable).

In regards to the staff they were all friendly and helpful! The store also has an amazing salsa and topping bar that has plenty of flavors of salsa (my favorites were the salsa verde and avacado sauce).

I have attached to this review their menu and drink list to give you an idea of pricing and food options. Most of the prices are very affordable!

Today we had the opportunity to visit The Albatross in Springfield, MO. The Albatross has been a fixture in Springfield for many years and is devoted to quality to***co products and also boasts a high end ho**ah lounge with a cozy atmosphere. Before getting into our review I want to notate that this is not sponsored by The Albatross, this is just the first of our series of reviews of prominent local businesses! If you have a business that you think we should review let us know in the comments.

Firstly I will notate that we are reviewing them as a business and not taking into account the policies they are required to enforce during this pandemic. The steps they are taking to ensure customer safety include limited hours, disposable ho**ah hoses, mask requirements while not at a table, separate employee and customer restrooms, and other saftey practices.

In regards to their lounge The Albatross recently acquired a liquor license and is now offering beer, wine, and spirts. They are also offering a quarantine happy hour between 4pm and 6pm. The lounge hours are 4pm to 11pm. When a customer is arrives they are given a paper menu of sh**ha flavors and chooses their ho**ah. Throughout their visit the employees bring by fresh charcoal to keep the ho**ahs running at peak temperature. Overall it is a relaxing atmosphere to relax.

Now speaking to their retail store it is open from 12pm to 7pm and offers ho**ahs, sh**ha, cigars/cigarettes, pipes, loose to***co, among other products. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Overall The Albatross is a quality local establishment and is worth a visit if you are in the downtown area!
