Aphex Twin has launched a new sample matching app called ‘Samplebrain’ 🙏🏼

In a post on his blog, Aphex – aka Richard James – revealed that the software, created by himself and Dave Griffiths, had been in development for two decades, and originally inspired by the emergence of Shazam.

Good news for all music producers, Novation have just made their 90’s/Noughties ’Bass Station and V-Station’ plug-in’s free downloads!

Bass Station is designed to create the monophonic 1993 hardware of the same name in your DAW. It offers two digital oscillators and an analogue filter.

V-Station is an emulation of the K-Station synth that was released in 2002. It has a 3-oscillator sound engine with noise and FM capabilities, an arpeggiator, effects, 200 user programs and 200 factory presets.
