Australia's climate cooled by 0.05C from January 2012 to July 2023, according to the Australian Climate Observation Reference Network (ACORN 2.3) for land stations.

The University of Alabama Huntsville dataset for lower troposphere anomalies (UAH 6.0) shows mean temperature warming of 0.042C from January 2012 to June 2023.

From January 2013 to June 2023, ACORN shows mean temperature cooling of 0.175C and UAH shows cooling of 0.065C.

The chart below is updated each month to track anomaly trends produced by both datasets.
