78 years ago a generation was called upon to storm the beaches of Normandy. I am thankful for there choice to do so. Thank you all for your service on any field of battle. And God speed to those who did not make it home, especially those who lost there lives on those beaches so far from home.

20 years ago today a despicable group of people decided to hurt thousands of innocents. Many people all over the world and our own country came together to comfort each other. Unfortunately in the last year or so we have struggled as a nation. A pandemic has tested our medical system and we are still struggling. Unrest has broken our cities peace. Differences have been made out to be our defining attributes. 20 years ago we threw all those worries aside, we cried together fought together and for a brief moment we saw what America could be. May we draw a little closer on this anniversary and remember the true cause of those events was hate. The only antidote for hate is love. We all need to push hate out of our hearts and lives, stand up for what is good fight for love. God bless in all you do and especially bless those who have lost loved ones on that fateful day or fighting to bring them to justice.

Please urge your Senators to give no support to the addition of Justices to the Supreme Court of the United States. Below is a letter written to my Senate representatives that I feel outlines some of the reasons this would be a terrible mistake:
The Supreme Court has taken two centuries to reach the level of acclaim and bipartisan respect it now enjoys. The bills attempting to add justices to the Supreme Court is a mockery of the Courts and the sitting justices themselves.
I only have one word to describe the result of changing the makeup of the Supreme Court, VENEZUELA. One of the first things pushed as "Social Change" by Hugo Chavez was the flooding of Venezuela's highest court with judges that would not block his major changes to the Constitution and Venezuelan law. He purposely dismantled the ability of a bipartisan court to push his agenda. The writing is on the wall gentlemen.
Even more interesting is how conservative values and the constitution have been run over with a steam roller in the court for decades. Now that there is a shift we instantly have to make changes? The Supreme Court is meant to be non-partisan, apolitical and I feel the current judges have proven that they will rule on the language of the law. They will not however rule by emotion or judicial activism as many of there earlier counterparts have. That is what scares Biden and those seeking to diminish the Court. They realize they will have to work across the isle to pass legislation and that the Court will no longer be a place that they can simply get a ruling in their favor.
As your constituent and a citizen of this great nation I strongly urge you to give no support at all to the notion of changing an American institution that is working. We have been able to work together to build a strong Judicial branch that many of your fellow senators and congress members wish to dismantle, just to pass their agenda without resistance.
A strong Judicial Branch is a necessity to prevent a Tyrannical government, the Founding Fathers understood this. There are appropriate vehicles to be used to change the makeup of the Courts and none of them are the Senate acting alone.

Unity - noun
Definition: the state of being united or joined as a whole.
With so many calling for "Unity" what do they really mean. Unfortunately the folks calling for Unity or Unification are meaning lay aside your beliefs for ours.
Is this really Unity? Even as individuals we are all different and we should celebrate our differences. Unity forms from our similarities and love for each other.
We should be seeking for our shared concerns and desired change we would like to see in the world. But just as a wise many once said “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time” (John Lydgate and later adapted by President Lincoln)

Definition: We as American citizens place our ultimate trust in our creator.
Did you know that even today The United States of America is far more religious than the rest of the industrialized world? While religious affiliation is declining in the U.S. there is still a larger percentage of people here that affiliate in some way with their definition of "God". This is the foundation our country was built upon, removing this motto from our nations history would be a mistake.

Liberty - noun
Definition: The state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior or political views.
Ask yourself honestly is this true in our current society. Sadly if you are honest no Liberty is no longer held sacred. We need to learn to listen to each other, we need to accept that we are all different that is one of our greatest strengths. We can believe in a different deity(ies), we can be members of different political parties, we can choose what we will morally support and still be life long freinds. We can do better America, we need to do better, lets reach out and heal the wounds.
