On December 22, 2023, the Department of Tourism and the National Parks Development Committee, in cooperation with SXManila, delighted the masses with a festive celebration through their program, "Paco Park Presents - Joyful and Triumphant: A Pre-Christmas Choral Concert." The event featured the cherished voices and harmonies of the International Baptist Church of Manila (IBCM) Chorale group, along with an opening unplugged acoustic performance from members of the band GRT with KC Caballero on keys.

The concert included special participation from Girl Soprano Abriamme Lao, Flutist Megan Terrazona, Opera Singer Prof. Debbie Reyes, Conductress Dr. Rosalia Dim, and Veteran Pianist Ernesto Ballesteros Jr. A recital from Pianist Isabel Frayres also highlighted the event.

The program was hosted by Ms. Hany Cariño.

The two-day event kicked off with technical tours of historic Paco Park, Intramuros, and Rizal Park Luneta, followed by a visit to New Clark City, Pampanga. Experience: "Mayo....Bisperas ng Liwanag," a musical adaptation of Nick Joaquin's classic short story "May Day Eve," a unique cultural performance for the celebration of National Heritage Month, taking place this Friday, 24 May 2024, at 6:00 PM at St. Pancratius Chapel in Paco Park. With a libretto by National Artist Fides Cuyugan Asensio and music by Professor Rey T. Paguio, this production, directed by the acclaimed Dr. Alegria Ferrer, explores themes of romantic love, longing, and nationalism through the lens of magical realism.

This special cultural celebration is brought to you by the Department of Tourism and the National Parks Development Committee, in partnership with SXManila.
