How To Find The Right Therapist:
1. Do your research.
It’s not enough to say you want to go to therapy. You have to do the research to find a good therapist. There are directories available on most mental health websites listing good therapist around the US. You have the option to attend sessions locally or virtually.
2. Ask for a referral.
Most good therapist are seen by friends or family members. Ask them for their therapist information and give their therapist a test run.
3. Check your local health care provider.
Therapy can be pricey. However, many therapist are covered under most insurance carriers. Check to see if a therapist is within network. Your pockets will thank you later.
