My husband has jokes. Also, I went back and watched my message and I didn't sound like this although I usually do.
On days when things feel hard and I need a reminder of God's goodness, I go back and listen to the songs I've written in the midst of storms and wilderness seasons.
They remind me of how far I've come and have faithful our God is.
i'm not sure who needs this reminder, but on the days when it all feels like too much to bear, know this: he is close and he is drawing near.

Real talk: Vulnerability takes maturity and is guided by love 🫶 but vulnerability without maturity, looks and feels like emotional grenades 💣 being tossed at those we encounter.

When it comes to following Jesus dying to your sinful desires is a have to. It's not a suggestion, it's not an option, it's a must have.
If you don't surrender all you are, tradition, religion and culture will infiltrate the gaps and produce a version of the kingdom that doesn't express the heart of God.

24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus ✨have crucified ✨ the flesh with its passions and desires 25 since we live by the spirit, let us keep in step with the spirit.
There is NO Fruit of the Spirit apart from dying daily. True story. We gotta do better, we gotta be better.
✨God is calling the church -- His sons and daughters to reflect his Kingdom from our roots to our fruit.✨
But it's hard, and the process of becoming more like Jesus every day, and dying daily is hard -- sadly because of the difficulty so many of us have substituted real growth, real Kingdom fruit with fake versions. Let's not be like the fake plant in my kitchen.
🌱Let's get good with being PLANTED in the garden of God's framework, watered by Jesus' words, and shaded by the Holy Spirit. 🍎 Even when it's hard and the outside elements aren't ideal. It's the only way we will truly produce fruit of the Kingdom. 🌳
