Got a text today from the fam who gifted us Ollie—apparently, it’s his birthday. 🎉 And since being a dog mom has fully become my entire personality (no shame), here’s an unnecessarily dramatic tribute to my furry bestie:
1. He’s the sweetest boy in the whole wide world.
That’s the list.

Happy birthday to my dog. I swore I’d never be that person… and yet, here we are. Send treats. 🐾🎂

Today’s my birthday. 🎂

Full disclosure: 43 was not what I expected.
It was wild.
High highs.
Low lows.
Holy ground.
Hard ground.

It was a year of less posting and more building.

Of stepping away from the spotlight and into the secret place.

I wrote more unseen things than I ever have—
Sermons, devotionals, systems, and sacred spaces for others to encounter Jesus.

It was hidden.
Exhausting.
Beautiful.
Holy.

And in the middle of it all, I learned some things I want to share with you.

These are the lessons that marked my year.
The ones that left me bruised, laughing, crying, expectant—and still moving forward.

If you’re in a season like this, I hope they bless you too.

Last day of 43.

Worshiping like I always want to be found—hands up, song loud, heart ready.

This year wasn’t easy. It stretched me, refined me, and pushed me into deeper waters.

But it brought me here. And here is holy.

So as I step into 44, my only prayer is this:
May my posture always be this—surrendered, expectant, and all in.

👷🏽‍♀️🔥 The first people filled with the Spirit of God in the Bible—after Adam—weren’t prophets, kings, or priests.
They were craftsmen. (Exodus 31:1–5, ESV)

Before God anointed the platform,
He anointed the process.

Before He anointed the priest,
He anointed the builders.

In the wilderness, God didn’t highlight charisma—
He honored obedience, strategy, and Spirit-led skill.

⚒️ So if you’re creating, planning, leading behind the scenes—know this:
You don’t need a mic to carry His Spirit.
You just need the courage to build what He’s called you to build.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. Honored to share Jesus in rooms full of faith, fire, and friends.

Last night, we wrapped up our Miracle Worker Series, and what a finale it was!

The past few weeks have been nothing short of extraordinary—every hand raised, every voice lifted in song, and every hope dealer engaged.

I’m profoundly humbled by the incredible community we’ve been entrusted to steward. Here’s to embracing the miraculous and carrying this momentum forward!

Sunday mornings in this season = slow, quiet, and full of peace… aka, me and the dog living our best lives.

I’m so thankful for our 6PM service—it’s given our teams (and let’s be honest, me too) a chance to pause, breathe, and actually rest. But don’t get it twisted—God is moving in this season, and I can feel it.

So for now, we’ll just keep enjoying these slow Sundays… waiting for Esteban to wake up and work his breakfast magic—because let’s be real, he’s the GOAT of breakfast. See you tonight!

I tend to look back a lot, especially in this current season.

How did I get HERE, what led me HERE, how can I win, abide, evolve HERE.

Today I went and read old posts of mine, reminders, red pins on my life map -- good reminders that what has led me HERE was simple surrender and choosing to follow well.

Sometimes the best way forward is stopping to remember.

Proverbs 31 hit different tonight! 🤯🔥 Lady Wisdom pulled up, took notes, and left us all rethinking our life choices (in the best way). 😂

Grateful for a house that leans into truth, puts in the work, and preps the table for others to meet Jesus. What a night!

I'm Hanging up the guitar tonight and picking up Proverbs 31 instead!

We’re closing out Walking in Wisdom with one of the most game-changing passages in the Bible—so if you’ve ever wondered what it really means to be a Proverbs 31 person (spoiler: it’s more than just a Pinterest quote for ladies), you need to be in the room.

6PM or bust! Bring a friend, a notebook, and maybe we will have them fray donut holes… it’s gonna be good.
