M I S S I O N
ACCOMPLISHED
The GOAL
was to see C A N A D A
~ all 10 provinces ~ by motorcycle.
I ARRIVED in NEWFOUNDLAND today
and it marks the completion of my goal to ride my motorcycles in every single Canadian province and to explore the beauty, the hospitality and rich, cultural landscape of the True North
What a multi-coloured journey ~ A journey filled with so many firsts ~ so may great personal encounters ~ new friends ~ and what seems like a trillion lifetimes, of truly spectacular memories.
I even saw my first moose.
Yep. Right there... off the side of the highway, as I cruised down off a huge winding, mountainous stretch of the Cabot Trail. He lifted his head, those huge antlers catching the final rays of the setting sun.
And in my writer's mind, he seemed to be saying... 'Welcome to a life of doing great things, my friend. Great job. Enjoy it"
Of course moose can't talk, and he was probably just lifting his head, because he was annoyed by the noise from the sound of my motorcycle exhausts. Ha ha ha....
It seemed quite fitting.
I'm elated, beaming with a sense of accomplishment and HAPPY.
Not regular happy, but the kind of happy you have, when you arrive at the Gates of Heaven and glance down and see your name, in bold print, on the VIP guest list.
Oh YEAH...... Grizzlies, great lifefrodisiac experiences and a grand dream completed.
