It's not too late to have your say.

Do you work in a sustainability-related job or profession and feel like you could benefit from understanding the true state of equity, diversity & inclusion around you? A question we often get at the executive and c-suite levels is whether compensation packages adequately reflect the responsibility they’re being tasked with, the depth of technical knowledge they need and the value they’re adding. It begs the question: are executives in a sustainability-related leadership position operating on a level playing field with CEOs, CFOs, CHROs, and other equivalent roles?

One of the leading challenges with employment surveys is gathering data at the leadership level, but these are the very datasets that leaders are desperate to have. The Sustainability Census wants to tackle this.

Calling all leaders working in a sustainability-related profession: The Sustainability Census wants to hear from you.

The Sustainability Census is the most comprehensive, global survey of professionals owning or driving sustainability within business and finance. To stand any chance of creating meaningful change through a data outreach project of this size and scope, they need a large-scale contribution from the very professionals they aim to support. Most importantly, from the leaders entrusted to tackle climate change across the globe.

We are constantly met by a gap in data to back conversations for senior leaders when it comes to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), remuneration, working patterns, investment & resources, benefits and more.

More importantly, sustainability-related professions lack a global snapshot of what it's like to work in the profession today. Do leaders feel like their organisation's transition targets are achievable? Do they feel that they have the resource required to make a true impact?

The working world lacks a global snapshot of what it's like to work in a sustainability-related profession today.

So, we are on a mission to create a blueprint for better, more informed decision-making. Today, we're proudly launching The Sustainability Census — the most comprehensive, global survey of professionals owning or driving sustainability within business and finance.

Beyond complex topics like equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), remuneration, and benefits, the survey tackles questions like:

How much of an impact do you really feel you can make in your role?

What are the biggest challenges you face today when it comes to your organisation's willingness to change?

Are you receiving the backing needed to achieve your organisation's targets – be those impact-driven, financial or both?

Whether you're working more broadly within sustainability, sustainable finance and/or impact investing, or you're in any other role that is responsible for owning or driving your organisation's sustainability, ESG or net zero targets, the Census wants to hear from you.
