I had to end the night with some ragga jungle for the final 15 min, played some remixes of some well known reggae tunes… it went offff 🔥🔊🔊🔊 My bro MC Jila donned the mic 🎤
My 2 favourite genres of music make such a good team, love getting creative combining them… potential bootlegs coming soon… maybe 😊😂
❤️💛💚
This Friday will be the fourth time I’ve played at Rum’n’Reggae, here’s a lil clip of the last three I played at. Was exactly a year ago I played for the incredible MC Horseman, then in February I played for the legendary Tippa Irie & the most recent Rum’n’Reggae vs Boom when I warmed up the dance floor for the mighty Mungos Hi Fi & Aziza Jaye. Getting excited to play again at Rum’n’Reggae this Friday 🤗❤️💛💚🔊
Still buzzing from last weekend. Played my most lively set for the incredible MC duo Starz & Deeza. Big thanks to everyone involved 🔊🔊🔊
Gold Dust a couple weeks ago was such a vibe, wanted to thank everyone who came & supported, we are so grateful.
We are already planning our next event in March so look out for info, was thinking maybe doing 90’s night… hip hop, house & dnb… thoughts? 💭 there was a lot of good music made in that decade 🤓
Thanks again to Kirsty for videos 🤍
Another party for one, headlining my front room 😁
The DJ before me was playing house so was happy to find this remix of a classic, show me love. Nicely transitioned into dnb for the final couple of hours of Gold Dust.
We are already plotting & planning our next one in March, every time I dj I’m always inspired to put together new tunes straight after. 😁
Thanks again to Kirsty for footage x
Massive thank u to the amazing Kirsty! Took some nice pics for our gold dust event at the weekend, such a pro! 📸
My dnb sets for gold dust events are normally remixes of tunes I think people will know & I throw in a few jungle tracks on the sly… gunfinger always at the ready.
This gesture is part of dnb/jungle culture & means u think it’s a banging tune being played. (For those non junglists out there)
I believe the roots of a gunfinger is from Jamaican soundclashes when people would literally fire a gun in the air to signal appreciation for the tune. 🔊🔊🔊
Only 4 days to until Gold Dust. If you’re up for a night out this Saturday, come check it out. 7pm we kicking things off at Salt in West Hampstead. Tix link in comments

Repping original dancehall last weekend at BOOMvsRUM’N’REGGAE was such a vibe. Playing a warm up set always tough at the start, playing to an empty space but it’s such a buzz getting a crowd dancing at the end, always 💯 good vibes at @hopyardbrewingco
Big thanks for booking @bonnieemerald @johnnyscratchley ❤️ thanks for footage @kirstyraven2000
Next month we celebrate a year of Gold Dust 💫 This is Jess AKA Northern Jessy who I organise these events with, feel blessed to be working with someone who shares a passion & love of music like I do 😊 As well as putting on these nights together we also DJ for our kid’s primary school, bringing the vibes & doing our bit for the school community.
We are really excited about celebrating a year of Gold Dust next month at the incredible Salt Lounge in West Hampstead. It’s a great night out, always good vibes & a chance to get down to some oldschool classics with a bunch of lovely people. Connecting people through a love of music & a chance to let go & dance the night away. Everyone is welcome! We have some early bird tickets available, will put link in bio. Hope to see u on the dance floor.
Here’s a few clips from previous Gold Dust events
Happy to be back at @hopyardbrewingco for Rum’n’reggae V Boom night last Saturday night. The second time I ever got up in front of people to DJ was at the first Boom night just before lockdown. Ive played hip hop/dnb/jungle at Boom nights.
I’ve also played at 2 Rum’n’reggae nights, both times I played 2 sets, one being pure riddims for a vocalist to sing/MC which I really enjoyed doing.
I really love playing at this venue, always 💯 vibes. Thank you for inviting me down 🔊🔊🔊
It takes a lot of hours, weeks, months, years to get good at DJing. For me it’s taken many years, not just practicing but building the confidence & music knowledge to actually step out infront of people & DJ properly. I’m not sure if u can practice too much, each session I get better & more confident & im so excited about sharing more of my journey. I hope I retain a mindset of there’s always more to learn…
What an amazing feeling hearing your name on a song & for the first time!!! Massive thanks to AStarr what a beautiful voice!… on the throw mi corn riddim 🔊🔊🔊 I can see why people get addicted to getting dubplates… I’m already excited about the next one! Big thanks also to DJ Diablo for the link up.
In The Blood presents at Buckle Bunker studios 💥 carnival special. I played female artists, from dancehall to Soca 🔉🔉🔉
My main set at Good Vibrations Society Festival was on the Warren stage on Sunday afternoon. Was so blessed that the sun was shining ☀️ I played all female artists, juggling some riddims in a bit of a new way… from chilled reggae into some original dancehall into new dancehall & ending of course with some drums & some bass 🔉🔉🔉 massive thanks @goodvibrationssociety for the opportunity 😊
❤️💛💚
Yo peeps! Here’s a few lil clips from Good Vibrations Society Festival a couple of weeks ago. I’m right at the back of the stage, u can kinda see me a bit 😁 this was definitely the biggest crowd I’ve played to, although I was far away could feel the vibes.
Was very grateful & inspired by this experience. 😊🔉🔉🔉
Last month I was lucky to be asked to play at Buckle Bunker studios for In The Blood. Really loved playing on this heavy weight soundsystem & also got to see some amazing sets by some very skilled DJs & hang out with a lovely bunch of fellow junglists.
I kicked things off with some dancehall then swiftly into some dnb & ragga jungle.

Good vibrations society festival 2021 & 22, really looking forward to playing this year.
2021 was the first time I’d played out for 2 years & only the third time I’d ever player infront of people. I mainly played to a field of mud & a digger sloshing the mud around 😂 I had a little audience by the end thankfully.
2022 I had a busy one, I played I think about 7 mini sets on the main stage inbetween the main acts & then an hour of jungle/dnb in the warren. I started at 12 & ended at 12, this was an incredible experience.
Looking forward to this one, playing reggae 5-6 on Sunday & a mini appearance on the main stage Saturday night, so excited!
This is such a lovely intimate festival which is growing every year & I feel blessed to be a part of it. 😊Tickets link in bio
Here’s a lil glimpse of my sets from our Gold Dust event last weekend, was a vibe. I played quite a chilled hip hop set then closed with dnb, all old school tunes. We’re planning the next one in a few months… watch this space 👀 🔉🔉🔉
Really excited about our 3rd Gold Dust event 🤗 Saturday 15th July at a new venue SALT Lounge If u fancy a night out grab a ticket & we look forward to seeing you on the dance floor. We have an amazing guest DJ/Vocalist mi.re.la & Co host DJ Northern Jessy Jessica Paton & after party till 4 with the one & only Shaun Powerz. Ticket link in comments
Check it, part 2 of my debut radio guest appearance on In The Blood @inthebloodpresents show on Thames Delta Radio @thamesdeltaradio with the mighty MC M-Tek @mtek1lla went for loads of tiny clips this time to fit it all in 😅 look out 👀 10th July I’m playing again for In The Blood via @buckle_bunker_studio
Last month I was blessed to be invited to be a guest on Thames Delta Radio to do a set for In The Blood show, was also blessed to have M-Tek on the mic alongside MC Crucial.
This was my radio debut 😊 first of many I hope 😁 I really loved the experience. Not gonna lie tho was strange DJing live but with no audience & loads of screens & technical stuff everywhere, thank goodness I only had the decks to deal with 😅😂🤣
This is part one, there’s another on the way… wasn’t easy to choose clips to use. Was such a vibe in the studio & I’m so grateful for the opportunity… massive thank you to all involved.
Blessed & grateful to have played at BOOM on Saturday night, was a vibe! Honoured to be on the same line up as the legendary Kenny Ken… I remember them tape packs! 😁
