Jewfish bycatch from last night. This massive 9ft plus nurse shark took a huge 40cm whole mullet bait we had set for a jewie on the changing tide and gave my spine an absolute workout! Had to bring him in to clip the line back as short as possible to release it.
Definitely feeling it today, probably won’t be leaving the couch 😅 and sadly, no jewies were caught haha.

Our new home and our new backyard. 🤘🏼

After a whirlwind 15 months cruising around Australia, It feels good to put the brakes on and settle down for a bit! Here’s to the next chapter in our families life!🫠

My beautiful little family has come home with me to where I grew up in North Haven and I’m so thankful for it, this place is pure peace and so good for the soul!

Our clever Mumma bear has quickly and easily landed herself a manager job in town and will be bringing home the bacon, while I attempt a stay at home dad role until the docs fix my body up!

Also, how bloody cute are those kids 😍 Vera got her first little princess outfit today and my god if it isn’t the cutest thing in the world!

Oh and I reckon the Tinny is gunna look great tied up to that little jetty for a while! 😬 🎣

✨Best age to travel with kids?

A question we frequently hear in the travel community. Here’s our experience of travelling with an almost 4 year old, a 2.5 year old and a 7 month old.

❌ We do miss out on some experiences we would like to do due to the kids capabilities and attention spans

✅ Camping and activities that we do do are cheaper, we rarely have to pay for the kids and when we do it’s usually just Charlie

❌ They are a lot of work. I know having three so close and young would be hard anywhere but sometimes living in a 21 foot space amplifies everything

✅ We don’t have to worry about any home schooling

❌ They require more stuff. Car seats, a stroller, nappies, high chairs.

✅ They are pretty adaptable at this age and are content with wherever we decide to camp or what activities we do. As long as we are by their sides they are happy 🤍

It finally happened. The catfish streak is over, I fed my kids barramundi tonight 😂😂

Stonka 🐊 Random pet croc at the Corroboree Park Tavern. Lovely quiet, cool, shady camp ground as a base to check out the Mary River. Wetlands cruise in the morning because travelling with 3 under 3.5 isn’t stressful enough we want to try to contain them on a boat for 1.5 hours 🤪🤦🏼

Poor neighbors 😅 but damned if I’m gunna use an anchor-charging the Min Kota battery up 😂😂 had literally zero sun for 6 days…. Gunna be interesting when they try to run the whole country on renewables 🤦🏼

I’d just like to put it on record that the flight simulator at the Nowra air fleet museum is totally rigged 😂🤦🏼 -sound on, some intense pilot lingo going on. 🚁
