2023 Pro series:
No excuses, we didn’t put anything into it, and got nothing in return. I knew early in the season I wasn’t going to be competitive. If it was old build, I’d probably be ok but I never had the time to learn the new build, and get to where I needed to be. This isn’t your average league racing, and you’ve got to be on your A-Game. It’s like the spring fling every week. Less cars, but 7k sof type racing anyways.

2022 was a fantastic year. Won some big races. We had heat wins in pro series, good finishes, qualified well each week, and transferred in nearly every heat race. Only missed one feature where I didn’t get a Q lap. And we won a World of Thunder SLM championship. 2023 has been a compete 180 from 2022. Its been miserable.

I honestly hated that update, but this most recent update seems to be a little more my style. Work slows down shortly and I’m excited to get back to running well again, and having fun again.

Being the oldest guy ever in the history of iracing EVER, (tomorrow is my birthday, I’ll be 109 years old) I owe a big thanks to these guys who support me!

🏆‼️ TONIGHT: Round 1 of the World of Outlaws Buttkicker iRacing Championship Series at Volusia Speedway Park ‼️🏆

‼️ A record breaking 14 drivers from Matjoulis Seay SpeedShop set to take on the $25,000 purse tonight in a 10 Round Series. Last year, Evan Seay won the championship with Blake Matjoulis coming 2nd. CFM dominated the series with 9/10 wins. We’re looking to keep up the momentum from last season and keep the speed up to par. ‼️

Series kicks off Monday! Last season was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the races each week.
This season, I feel a lot less prepared. We’ve had really good race speed, just a little off early on in tacky conditions. If I can put it all together we can be really good this first week.

World of Thunder E-Sports League-Powered by Wotel Freedom 50 at Volusia.

Q-P20 🤮
Heat - P3 transfer
Feature - 15th—>6th

I have been consistently slow in qualifying and tacky trackstates. So I need to work on that but we definitely have race speed. Especially late race speed. Seem to have a lot of tire left even after pushing to move through the field in the feature. I was able to reel guys in quick and pass easily late in the race. Still have more work to do though before the pro series starts.

Thanks to Evan Seay, Blake Matjoulis, and all of Matjoulis-Seay Speed Shop for helping me get up to speed. I haven’t had near as much time as a lot of guys on this new build but they’ve been helpful answering questions and making sure we have a good setup under us.

Spring Fling Night #1

Car was really good. Was able to keep pace pretty easily all night. Raced a little too conservative in the feature, and missed some opportunities. The Car gets better on the longer runs so we’ll see if we can make anything happen for night #2.

Travis StClair comes out on top in the World of Thunder E-Sports League-Powered by Wotel! The machine stayed patient early on, taking the lead just before halfway, and going on to lead the remainder of the race.

2022 iRacing The ButtKicker World of Outlaws Late Model Series is in the rear view!
What an incredible experience. We had good days, bad days, and everything in between. I enjoyed it though and learned a lot throughout the season. My goal was to end the season top 15 in points and maintain the license, make as many features as possible, and race everyone as clean as possible. I definitely could have performed better at times, but the series opened my eyes to the things I need to focus on, so it's all a positive even when things don't go your way. This series was hard and a big step up for me personally. It's rare to get all these guys together in one race and it's totally different than just having a handful of them in a race server. So with that, I am pleased with the season and have some things to build on going forward. Thanks to all you that have helped "the old man" along the way.

In It For The W!

After six long weeks, countless hours of testing and tuning... it's official! Cody Seeber and Travis StClair will be competing in the 2022 World of Outlaws ButtKicker Late Model Pro Series presented by iRacing. This is a huge accomplishment and everybody at Max Droop is very proud of these guys! Great work!

StClair gets it done! The boys headed to The Dirt Track at Charlotte for round 3 of the World of Thunder Speed Week and unloaded fast and gained speed as the night rolled on! Travis StClair started 6th and found his way to the front taking his FIRST EVER World of Thunder win! Huge congrats to Travis on a job well done! Teammates Brandon Freeburg and Tanner Tomasi were also fast in the feature both taking the lead late in the race. Ultimately contact would end Tomasi's night with a few laps remaining. Freeburg would come home a strong 5th. Congrats again to Travis on a WELL DESERVED VICTORY!
