We are in the afterglow of our second wedding of the series but fear not gentle listeners the sh*t is about to hit the fan with our 7th episode of Four Weddings and a Funeral. Duffy is still unhinged and his hair is even more unhinged. Kash is pining for Maya and they're stuck working together in a community theater and Maya, well she's keeping secrets, and kissing everyone. In this episode we discuss: Corinne's anxiety around a locked door and how there's (very possibly) a dead person behind it, what exactly an LGBT-Rex is, and the wonderful Christmas album Adele and Sam Smith would make if we lived 50 years ago and they had to fake a marriage. And since the bulk of this episode is set in a theater there is (of course) singing of show tunes and definitely a lot of drama, so we hope you tune in for part 7 of the series. Episode drops September 10th.

It's s*xy episode 6 of Four Weddings & a Funeral and we finally have a wedding! Guess who is getting married (in case you couldn't tell from our episode image) it's Craig & Zara! The formerly estranged couple is tying the knot, throwing the tackiest wedding in all of Great Britain and 👏 we 👏 are 👏 here 👏 for 👏 it. In this episode we discuss: why you don't cast Idris Elba as your best man, what your wedding would look like if you married W***y Wonka, and why your wedding cocktail shouldn't be Khalua and tomato juice. And if that's not incentive enough we hear Corinne give the 'lamest' yeah you've ever heard. But it's the only 'lame' thing in this episode so we hope you RSVP to attend episode 6, because we'd love to take you as our +1 to Four Weddings and a Funeral. Episode drops September 3rd.

We are halfway through our series Four Weddings & a Funeral, and who did Maya kiss?? If you listened to last week's episode you know...and probably feel as conflicted about it as we do. In this weeks snippet we get a front row seat to that kisses aftermath and: discuss Craig's questionable taste in apartment decor, ask who had more chemistry than Maya and Duffy (hint it's just about everyone), and chant our mantra 'friends that take drugs together stay together (we of course are not talking the illegal kind). Things are simmering in this week's recap and we hope you stand in polyester solidarity with us as we watch all the drama on Cinco de Four Weddings & a Funeral. Episode drops August 27th.

We've finally hit it folks, part 4 of Four Weddings & a Funeral (aka the funeral portion). And although the episode was on the somber side we had so many highlights and laughs we truly did put the FUN in funeral. The somber bit was Gemma and Giles (and the rest of the Fabulous 4) said goodbye to Quentin. The FUN bits were: when we proposed doing 'The Hustle' to bagpipes as a wedding march, discussed British slang at length (like t**t, wa**er and f***y), or when Corinne graciously explained how washing machines worked and Tamara graciously explained back how rich people spend their money. The bits of information we give in this episode are gems and we hope they bring you a few bright spots in this darker chapter of Four Weddings and a Funeral Part Four. Episode drops August 20th.

We are three deep into our 4 weddings and a funeral series and things are falling apart with the fierce-some foursome. Ainsley gets cut off by her parents, Maya gets harassed by her new employer, Craig is still pining after Zara and Duffy can't get out of his own way to find love. In addition to the drama we discuss: how often is the proper amount to ma******te, if Peter Dinklage is so talented he could act in any role (including an NBA star), and why we both yell 'Not Haroon!!!' In near unison. So far we've only had a wedding but (spoiler) a funeral is not too far away so stay tuned and see who kicks the bucket in this episode of Four Weddings and a funeral. Episode drops August 13th.

05/08/2024

It's our second exciting installment of the Four Weddings & A Funeral saga, and last time we were left with a cliffhanger-Kash was about to leave Ainsley at the altar. In this episode we will find out: if they went through with the wedding, if Maya will get her head out of her ass and leave Senator McCheatyPants and if Craig and Zara will survive his 'secret' love child? In addition to our awesome recap we also discuss: bad ODK business ideas like Body Scented Body Wash, whether relationships can be built on great s*x alone and give pro dating tips like 'how you can give your dog a bone but you shouldn't give your dog walker a bone'. We are only half a failed wedding into this series but will RSVP to all the drama and hope you'll attend part deux of Four Weddings & a Funeral with us. Episode drops August 6th.

We are back Gentle Listeners! We're slightly fresher than before our vacation and doing something a little different. For the next few weeks we are recapping a rom-com series called Four Weddings & A Funeral. This Hulu show has 10 episodes and we'll be going over one, every week. In the first episode we meet the main cast of friends: Maya, Ainsley, Craig and Duffy as well as the colorful characters that are in their orbit. We find out that Maya inadvertently falls in love with her bff Ainsley's boyfriend, Duffy attempts to proclaim his love to Maya and Craig finds out he's a daddy and not the kind his high maintenance girlfriend wants. We peppered this episode with commentary as well as some accidental beauty tips such as: how to easily disguise a dripping wet bra filled with aquarium rocks, how chlorinated hair works and how to escape really aggressive stylists that are dying to get their hands on your locks. Hopefully you got the memo that we were on break but if not we hope that you're not mad at us for being gone. But we are back to business as usual (kind of) and this episode drops July 30th.

We're on the last episode of 'Movies that May make you say WTF' and Corinne picked a doozy. This week we are doing Redline, starring Nadia Bjorlin as Natasha, a car savvy mechanic by day and a singer by night. Until she meets Carlo, played by Nathan Phillips who accompanies her to the dangerous world of underground street racing. In this episode we: contemplate what the best snacks are to store in your cleavage, agree that nothing says 'I love you' like a kidnapping, and have a heated debate over the ratings; Corinne dubs this film a terrible, wonderful masterpiece while Tamara regards it as The Fast & Infuriating. This movie got our motors running for very different reasons but we gave it all we got and hope you join us as we caress the Redline. Episode drops May 21st. Also as a reminder we are taking some time off. This will be our last episode until July 30th. We will miss all of our gentle listeners in the meantime but bid you adieu with one dry kiss. 💋

This week's movie that 'May make you say WTF' takes us back to L.A. specifically to Encino CA. where we are covering the 90's hit Encino Man. It stars Sean Astin as Dave, an unlikely protagonist who digs up a frozen caveman, played by Brendan Frasier, with the help of his reluctant friend Stoney, played by Pauly Shore. In this episode we: marvel at how 2 of our most recent movies starred leading men that needed to be shaved and taught english, argue whether a caveman of the 90's would use peanut butter or sh*t as his preferred medium for cave paintings, and agree that Dave is as bland as a baloney sandwich with no mayo. We are still recovering from the aftershocks this movie gave us but we hope you join us for the earth shaking saga that is Encino Man. Episode drops May 14th.

This month's theme is 'Movies That MAY Make You Say WTF?!?!?' Our first WTF movie is Earth Girls Are Easy. It stars Geena Davis as Val, a heartbroken girl who's just discovered her fiance Ted has been cheating, but Val finds distraction in a trio of h***y aliens who land in her backyard pool, they are: Mac played by Jeff Goldblum, Wiploc, played by Jim Carrey and Zeebo, played by Damon Wayans. In this episode we: speculate that the cheating Ted is a sociopath and one we will NOT be having a Ted Talk about, explain that just because things are called toiletries doesn't mean they belong in the toilet, and give helpful tips on how to handle hairy ni**le patches. We marveled at the budding talent in this movie, laughed entirely too much at our own jokes, and now agree that Earth Girls Are Easy and very very entertaining. Episode drops May 7th.

It's the last episode of our April Fools theme and we're ending it with a bestie bang! We're doing Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, starring Mira Sorvino as Romy and Lisa Kudrow as Michele, two ditzy friends who decide to fabricate an 'impressive' life in order to dazzle their classmates at the 10 year reunion. In this episode: we hypothesize what our Shark Tank pitch would be for Lady Fair-Quick Burning Ci******es, Corinne explains how partitions are a priority for privacy...and nookie, and we get Romy and Michele's origin story, which include their ambitions to be s*x workers (and there's a prequel to prove it). We enjoyed reliving some of our high school cafeteria memories and we'd love it if you'd join us at our table so we can hang and gossip about Romy and Michele's High School Reunion. Episode drops April 30th.

This week we're covering the 'April Fools' movie Legally Blonde, AND we are waxing poetic about the late great podcast Let's Go To Court. Both showcase court cases but only Legally Blonde stars Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods, a heartbroken college student who in an attempt to win her boyfriend back, applies to Harvard and gets accepted. In this episode we: debate on whether being named Chutney is motive enough to murder your parents, marvel at how Elle is the 'pinnacle of diversity' at Harvard, and discuss our signature styles which consist of beige wallflower camouflage, orange swim goggles and Beiber hair. We are heading to court in more ways than one this week and we hope you join us as we drink from our Owala's, say 'podcast adjourned' to our beloved LGTC and find out what it's like to be Legally Blonde. Episode drops April 23rd.

We have the quintessential April Fools pick this week with our movie Fools Rush In. It stars Matthew Perry as Alex, a real estate developer who gets sent to Las Vegas where he meets Isabel played by Salma Hayek. After a one night stand, 'whoopsie' she gets pregnant and the pair get married (much to everyone's dismay). In this episode: we agree that the only thing that's OK to buy out of someone's car trunk is tamales, contemplate starting a new podcast to discuss all of Corinne's bad dates, and come up with too many accidental s*xual innuendos (like play co****le with Chuy and moisten up my desert). We were not rushing in this episode and you'd be a fool (just kidding we love you) to miss Fools Rush In. Episode drops April 16th.

Our new theme this month is April Fools, or movies that showcase people that don't make the best decisions. The first flick we are covering is Quiz Lady, which stars Awkwafina as Anne, an introverted CPA who loves the game show 'Can't Stop The Quiz' and is content to watch it every night at home until her dog gets kidnapped by a loan shark. Her sister Jenny, played by Sandra Oh, gets the bright idea that she can win her dog back by going on her beloved game show and chaos ensues. In this episode we: wonder if you'd get a deal for donating your lady eggs in bulk, make up new words (as we are wont to do) like Quiz-tator and Nursery Homes, and wax poetic about game shows of the past-polyester suits, bad hair & s*xual innuendos that wouldn't fly today,. This episode has 'all big bucks and no whammies' so we hope you 'come on down' and meet the Quiz Lady with us. Episode drops April 9th.

01/04/2024

We are on the last March Madness episode and we're a little late, but it's worth the wait because we are joined by the lovely ladies from the Histories & Mysteries Uncovered Podcast. We are joining forces to cover I, Tonya starring Margot Robbie as Tonya Harding the infamous figure skater who was blamed for the assault against fellow olympic hopeful Nancy Kerrigan. But this movie shines all kinds of light on the abuse Tonya faced from her mother Lavona, played by Allison Janney and her ex husband Jeff, played by Sebastian Stan and (arguably) from the public and media. In this episode: our guest Jess asks 'who wrote this?' After she's forced to say Daddy Harding, our guest Ash describes the person in this movie that she would let lick her face, Corinne suggests Tonya could have rifled through the dumpsters at Ho***rs for potential ice skating outfits and Tamara gets ice skating judgemental. We thoroughly enjoyed having the Histories and Mysteries Uncovered Ladies on this week's show and we hope that you lace up and skate by to experience I, Tonya with us. Episode drops April 2nd.

25/03/2024

For this March Madness episode we have an exciting true crime rom-com with a surprise jailbreak ending. We are doing I Love You Phillip Morris, which stars Jim Carrey as Steven, a con-man who realizes, late in life, that he's gay and falls in love with Phillip Morris, played by Ewan McGregor. But it's a prison romance and once they're in separate penitentiaries can their love last? In this episode we discuss: how Tam will only sleep on beds that are out and proud (no hide-a-beds for her), how Corinne can overcome many obstacles while podcasting (except forgetting to watch the movie), and how much enthusiastic prayer it would take before Jesus says 'We're good!' The twists and turns in this movie have blown our minds, and we hope you join us for this 'master level blow job' movie that is I Love You Phillip Morris. Episode drops March 26th.

18/03/2024

It's the second episode of March Madness/aka Rom Com-ish movies with a true crime twist, and we are going waaay back to 1949 to cover Adam's Rib. It stars Spencer Tracy as Adam an attorney who's prosecuting a woman for shooting her husband. Adams' wife Amanda, played by Katharine Hepburn is also an attorney and places herself as the woman's defense because-FEMINISM! In this episode: we argue whether this movie is a banger or a sleeper hit (because it literally put one of us to sleep), wax poetic about the 'fun twists' the movie takes due to the Hays Code, and discuss the fashion of the time like-silvery, garnish, beacon hats and 'here for business ribbons.' The legal arguments in this movie go off the rails but we're hanging on until the end so we can share the bananas-a journey with you, that is Adam's Rib. Episode drops March 19th.

11/03/2024

We are BACK in March Madness, where all of our movies have a true crime twist. This week we are covering, I Love You To Death. It stars a very bronze Kevin Kline as Joey, a philandering father and husband to Rosalie, played by Tracey Ullman. Rosalie is devoted to Joey until she catches him in the act, then she wants revenge and will look anywhere to get it. In this episode: we overuse heavy air quotes when talking about "fixing pipes" and "tool boxes", and Tamara forgets what decade she's in while Corinne explains the proper way to use a baseball bat as a weapon. The plot twist at the end of this movie has us tickled enough to say 'I Love You To Death' and we hope you agree. Episode drops March 12th.

It's our final installment of Friend-uary and we have a Sister squared episode. First, Tam's big sis Denise makes a guest appearance to share all the sister antics they had growing up. Then, we cover the 90's classic Sister Act, which stars Whoopi Goldberg as Deloris, a lounge singer who's forced into witness protection at a strict Catholic church. At first its torture, but Deloris uses her musical chops and charm, to turn their struggling choir around. In this episode: we argue whether Tone Loc songs could be made into hymns, debate if this movie would be improved by Sandra Bullock also being undercover, and Corinne invents a new word, Holos-unintentional solos, that we will ultimately put on merch at some point. We have enjoyed the 'com' with a little less 'rom' in our chosen movies this month, but there's plenty of sisterly love in this episode. So we hope you join us for Sister Act. Episode drops February 27th.

20/02/2024

Our next Friend-uary episode comes with an extra raunchy content warning, because we are covering The Sweetest Thing. It stars Cameron Diaz as Christina, a girl who doesn't want to settle down until she meets Peter, played by Thomas Jane, in a nightclub. Their brief encounter intrigues Christina so much that her friend Courtney, played by Christina Applegate, convinces her to semi-stalk him at a wedding that they're not invited to. In this episode we: wonder what logistics would be needed to accomplish cu*******us while driving, realize the words 'boundaries' and 'consent' were largely unknown in the early aughts, and contemplate how long a 'food' that causes a**l leakage could stay on the market. This movie is practically a time capsule so we hope you join us as we travel 20 years back to visit The Sweetest Thing. Episode drops February 20th.

12/02/2024

We are on the second episode of our Friend-uary month and our next 'juicy' movie is the Kissing Booth. It stars Joey King, as Elle who has (literally) grown up with her bestie Lee, played by Joel Courtney. They share everything, including a list of Bestie Rules, one of which is 'family members are off limits' when it comes to love. This poses a problem when Elle falls for Lee's older brother Noah, played by Jacob Elordi. In this episode: we solidify the fact that Corinne loves a bad boy but hates a baby man, Tam comes up with a few choice alternate titles for the movie such as-Temple of Tongue Fornication & A Mouthful of Spit Soup, and we decide that we will now live by the mantra 'No Pirouettes, No Pu**y.' So we hope you join us to see how that plays out and all the other potential mononucleosis nightmares at The Kissing Booth. Episode drops February 13th.

We are back! Fresh from vacation and ready to jump into Friend-uary. That's the theme for this month's movies: rom-coms that are heavy in the friend department. Our first movie is I Love You, Man which stars Paul Rudd as Peter who's newly engaged to Zoey, played by Rashida Jones. Zoey has seven bridesmaids and Peter realizes he has no friends to fill his side of the wedding party and goes on a friend quest to find them. In this episode: we discuss strategically placed vomit, warn our 'gentle listeners' not to sit in the armchair with the lotion next to it, and explain how NOT to be a Tevin (aka a frosty haired c***e). We are so thrilled to be putting out episodes again and consider each of you a friend so we hope you join us for Friend-uary where we can honestly say "I Love You, Man.' Episode drops February 6th.

26/12/2023

The last episode of the year is a holiday dangler, because it comes after Christmas but is still a spirited, good time. We are covering Single All The Way which stars Michael Urie as Peter, a content manager who found out right before Christmas that his boyfriend was married. He talks his friend Nick, played by Philemon Chambers into accompanying him home for the holidays and posing as his beau, but things don't go as planned and force Peter and Nick to evaluate their friendship and more. In this episode: Corinne works the word chivalry into a hymn, we talk about how petty you can be while flying first class, and admit that we are the celery and carrot of relationships (meaning we go good together but no one wants to see us fuc*ing). This is our first re-record EVER due to technical difficulties but we both agree that it was twice the fun, and the perfect end to our recording year. We want to remind our gentle listeners that we are taking the month of January off but we do hope you join us for the last episode of 2023, Single All The Way. Episode drops December 26th.

25/12/2023

We are releasing our full interview with Katie Wilbert as a bonus episode because we had such a great time talking with her. Katie is a multifaceted talent and the writer behind A Vineyard Christmas. We do a deep dive into the movie with her and discuss all the things 'Vineyard' including: why Reggie the sound guy got killed off, the sultry, satisfying fireplace scene, and if Rudy will be OK after a good deep cry. We also discuss things outside the movie, like: the undeniable draw of a sassy, grumpy person, if decorating your place with Taylor Swift paraphernalia is a good idea, and many of Katie's new projects that she's working on (a female driven stoner comedy, and a mockumentary show about witch sisters, to name a few). This interview was as entertaining as Katie Wilbert's comedy shorts and we really enjoyed her movie and getting to know her. We hope you check out this bonus episode, which will drop on December 25th, Christmas Day. Happy Holidays everyone!

18/12/2023

On this episode we have a special guest Katie Wilbert, writer of A Vineyard Christmas which is the movie we are recapping this week. We are releasing a snippet of our interview with Katie and will release the full interview on Christmas Day, December 25th. A Vineyard Christmas stars Nikki McKenzie as Heather, a sommelier and host of the food show Between the Vines. She's tasked with interviewing Rudy, played by Victor Zinck Jr. who's the owner of Knobloch Family Vineyard and not very receptive to Heather or her show. There's some secrets in Rudy's past which may explain his icy demeanor that's almost as icy as his wine, but can Heather thaw him in time to save the show? In this episode we: give Katie tons of sequel ideas, even though no one asked us to, contemplate whether 'Family Friendly Vineyards' means that the proprietors offer child sized bottles of wine, and giggle like tweens over innuendos we make about yule logs and picking grapes. The temperature is falling this time of year but our spirits are up, especially as we travel to A Vineyard Christmas. Episode drops December 19th.

11/12/2023

We are heading over to Corinne's neck of the woods for our next movie: It's Four Christmases and takes place in the San Francisco Bay Area. It stars Reese Witherspoon as Kate, a successful, young, professional who is in a committed (but not super committed) relationship with Brad played by Vince Vaughn. A series of events grounds their vacation flight, forcing them to spend Christmas with their actual families and test the strength of their love and sanity. In this episode: we marvel at how many people have Southern accents north of San Francisco, wonder what we would do for love and/or a good pressure cooker, and Corinne comes up with a banger original song called 'He's a Baby Man' (to the tune of Secret Agent Man) to describe Brad and all his questionable relationship etiquette. This movie made us laugh and cringe as we tagged along with the couple, for an entirely different kind of white Christmas. So join us as we cross the Golden Gate Bridge for Four Christmases. Episode drops December 12th.

04/12/2023

It's December and we are doing another Christmas adjacent movie called Pottersville. It stars Michael Shannon as Maynard, a shop owner who finds his wife being unfaithful, gets drunk, dresses like Bigfoot and causes mayhem in his small town. In this episode we attempt very bad Australian accents (we are so very sorry Australia), wonder if BigFoot does spa weekends and/or is working on himself, and practically go to blows over some questionable merchandising (or is it product placement?!?!). No Juvenile Bigfoots were harmed in the making of this recording, nor were any seen in this movie but we'll still take a trip down to Pottersville to double check. Episode drops December 5th.

28/11/2023

We are in the final stretch of Christmas in November and doing the classic movie Steel Magnolias. Yes, this is a Christmas movie (in Tamara's eyes, while Corinne calls it Christmas adjacent). It has a star studded cast including: Julia Roberts, Dolly Parton, Sally Field, Shirly MacLaine, Darryl Hannah and Olympia Dukakis to name a few. With such powerhouse actors we don't need to tell you what the movie is about, you should just watch it! In this episode we ooze bad Southern accents, use Bless Your Heart as a threat, and Corinne considers this film an emotional colon cleansing and Tamara wonders if it will flush the holiday spirit out of her (probably not). This movie made us laugh and cry and declare that 'pink is our signature color,' so we hope you join us and the other Southern Belles as we recap Steel Magnolias. Episode drops November 28th.

20/11/2023

It's our 3rd Christmas movie in November and we are going strong with our next choice: Inventing the Christmas Prince. It stars Tamera Mowry-Housley as Shelby, a single mother who's trying to give her daughter the most magical Christmas. Shelby recruits her reluctant boss Evan, played by Ronnie Rowe to pretend to be the Christmas Prince and help make all her daughters dreams come true. In this episode: Corinne reveals her little known crush to Tamara (hint he wears bitching eyeshadow), we theorize on what's a better workplace gift than a stocking full of staplers, and wonder aloud if CPS should be called on Shelby for some of her questionable parenting decisions. We are waist deep in some serious Prince Business and hope you join us for all the festive feels we got with Inventing the Christmas Prince. Episode drops November 21st.
