Trans Mountain’s expansion was never commercially viable and Kinder Morgan knew it. In January 2010, Richard Kinder, Chair of the US parent, Kinder Morgan Inc. (KMI) said, "...it would be almost impossible to replicate … any of the major pipelines that we have at any reasonable cost. And even getting into some of these metropolitan areas would be impossible today. The areas are just built up too much.”

Finance Minister Bill Morneau says the government will buy the existing Trans Mountain pipeline from Kinder Morgan at a price of $4.5 billion. He refused to explain that $4.5 billion simply buys Ottawa the rights to what exists today — a 65 year old pipeline

We look at oil as this terrible thing...

- “it’s not it’s incredible! Look at our last hundred years..... do you really believe that you would be reading this today without it?”

But cost is something we have tied to “EVERYTHING”... and our environment is the one we are all to sacrifice.

To keep oil in the would not only be beneficial to “Everyone in ”

WE WILL RUN OUT OF OIL!

This would allow demand to be “sacrificed” from another location (no boundaries with global events.)

But we have better “closer to the ground level”... and we should look to use those before our countries “ ”.
